There's a problem with driver for this card ! What version of driver is fully workable ?

no, there is no problem with the driver for this card, it has to do with the age of your hardware, windows updates and more. If you would like me to help you, start a new thread, so that I can see this comment, i had to go in the backend to find this comment.

No POST for me after installation, but then changed from straight-thru 8 PIN power cable to multi-drop PCIe cable with a six-pin connector and separate two-pin (to form an eight pin, just from two pieces). That was the trick. All cables came from Corsair RM750e power supply. Working great now. Thanks for the video.

@ThisBytesForYou Жыл бұрын
Yes that is the minimum, I would never use the minumum as the hardware you install, aside from the video card may require more. The recommendation is based on a complete system, not just the card, though they don't say what they call is a complete system. Plus a 500 means next time you upgrade it will be more expensive because you have to buy another power supply. I have some 1200 psus for 15; years going at strong, 2 x 1000 going strong for about 4 years and another 1000watts about about 2 years, buy more than you need now and save later.

So, the card itself doesn't have any lighting effects? Like some Sapphire cards have beautiful lighting effects on their branding text. Also, will it be harmful if I use a Corsair CX450 Watts PSU for this? My CPU is the 5600G and the estimated Power consumption of the entire PC is around 300 Watts.
@ThisBytesForYou Жыл бұрын
Pulses do not, Nitro's do, both Sapphire cards, but Nitro have the RGB lighting and better cooling that the Pulse's do, and the higher price tag. As for the power supply, the card calls for at least 500Watts. that does not mean it won't work with a 450, but it does mean 450 may not be enough when you get into games that pull more performance. Estimates are nice, but usually unreal.

@@AH-wf5ri they are not, the GPU itself might be since it's made by AMD, but the GPU's clock speeds, memory speeds and individual components are not, each company uses their own BOM (Bill of Material) and that can many times make or break a product as well as the cooling solution (heatsinks, heatsink design, IO plate and fans), not to mention the Trixx application is best when used outside of the gigabyte environment. Trixx does not play well in a gigabyte environment, has issues controlling the RGB lighting (I should have asked what board he had). As for looks, that is subjective. What is the highest temperature for this GPU? In terms of gaming.... Will it be Long lasting?
@ThisBytesForYou2 жыл бұрын
My temperature is 63F in my house, whats your? The temperature of the card will depend on the ambient temperature of your house and cooling, chances are it will never go below ambient, so if your house is 83F, the card will be around 83F at lowest, does that make sense? Long Lasting, its a decent card today, and this is ENTRY level performance, so it will be decent for a while.

@ThisBytesForYou2 жыл бұрын
2 reasons this happens, they is that you are using an older standard HDMI cable, older than HDMI 2.1 (get a new cable, that is HDMI 2.1)) and the refresh rate could be too low. Aside from the cable, if you can get it work, boot into windows, with both monitors plugged in. When in windows, disconnect the HDMI cable, for lets say 30 seconds, then plug it back in. It may reappear and work but AMD likes to set the refresh rate to 59hz, and MANY monitors cannot handle it. So when you plug in your monitor, right click on the background in windows and click "Display Settings", then click "Advanced Display Settings", the monitor that appears first, make sure the refresh rate is 60hz, or if its a higher refresh rate panel, set it to its specified refresh rate, then click apply. After you apply that one, see if you see your other monitor in the drop down at the top of the screen, if you do, select that monitor and adjust the refresh rate, let me know if that helps.

@ThisBytesForYou2 жыл бұрын
Sapphire is amazing, when you are saying it heats up too much, you have tested this unit and the Asus in your system? Where are you getting these sources from, 1 resource that tests everything at 1 temperature or various sources?
@mozydiaz82962 жыл бұрын
@@ThisBytesForYou For temperatures there are plenty of benchmarks on youtube like him for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXyQZGWbpNCXaNk where he reaches 80 degrees on "Call of" I believe. and for the comparison with Asus here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKfJdJ2Hgs2Xg9E For the tests I don't have the means to test everything (a GPU is already quite expensive wher I live) so I leave it up to people like you who test the products.
@ThisBytesForYou2 жыл бұрын
the temperatures are amazing, I have not tested the Asus cards, but the major issue with any tests especially different tests is you have to know the ambient temperature, like in your house, if your ambient temperature is very high, because you like it hot (some people do) your gpu won't stay cool, my house is usually between 63 and 66°F , 18.8°C, so that helps the card stay cool, but the 6600 doesn't get incredibly hot anyway, the Pulse being the basic 6600 card won't get that hot at all, if you got the Nitro, the temperatures would be lower, they use better materials, same with the different tiers of Asus cards. You have to also compare speeds of GPU and Memory. The other thing is cooling, how many fans do you have in the front, top, rear and bottom of your case and which ones are pulling air in and which ones are venting air out, there are a lot of factors. I will have a video slightly on this come out on Wednesday. Working hard now testing.
@mozydiaz82962 жыл бұрын
@@ThisBytesForYou Exactly the thing with the pulse is that there are too many parameters to take into account, have 2 fans in the front and one in the back ( I'll add one soon). For now that's enough for me since I don't overclock any component and I don't want my case to make as much noise as an airplane engine. I think I'll opt for the Asus (since I have experience with their gpus with my 1650) or maybe the nitro but the prices have to come down a bit more.
@ThisBytesForYou2 жыл бұрын
@@mozydiaz8296 I think you are putting too much behind it, it seems like you have the trust already behind Asus, not saying they are bad at all, Asus makes NVIDIA and AMD cards, Sapphire ONLY does AMD so, it makes sense for them to make the better card but go for the Asus. If you go for Sapphire and any little issue occurs, you will blame the Sapphire, I hope it works out well for you.

I do like sapphire cards, but I have never reviewed a Gigabyte card, so I can't comment on the physical card and it's performance aside from the specs. Aside from sufficient it would move have to do with your overall ambient temperature and system cooling.
