Is this a good laptop to take to school every day? Or do you recommend the Msi Gs63VR? (it's only 1.9kg, but battery life is terrible, only 2 hours)

It is not unbearable if you don't need to take the power brick. So if you can get away with about 3 hours or so give and take a few, then yes. Laptop alone is obviously not the thinnest lightest whatnot but it's not unbearable.

TechGearGuy about 3 hours of battery life on a 51Wh battery. The other laptop (1.9kg) has a 65Wh battery. Do you recommend this one (51Wh) or the 65Wh one?

well this laptop has a massive power brick and 3 hours of juice if you change every setting on the laptop to low, i would not recommend it for school. epically with that cheap tin exterior. buy a cheap laptop for school.

They're both good, it all comes down to money. if you're willing to spend some more, get the Aero. Has long lasting battery, 512 SSD, great display. Otherwise, I get the MSI.

What did you get eventually ? I think getting more battery life for less graphic performance is a bad trade. Msi would have been better imo.
