Protips: 1) Don't set the cooler down onto the thermal paste at a weird angle like that and you'll get a much better spread. 2) Use isopropyl alcohol (91% is best) on the napkin to clean it off easier.

Literally did as instructed and latch bent pins somehow now my warranty is voided and won't post with brand new motherboard and bios flashback, thanks MSI for nothing.. guess I'm going back to AM4😢

did u install it in wool mittens? Knitting threads from these can damage pins very ez. Its it better to do with bare hands, or latex gloves. But I would avoid to use Antistatic gloves during this operation, since they can have some treads.

Still using AMD Wraith stock cooler??? Even though I do plan to upgrade to AM5 when its cheaper, and keep using my existing wraith coolers (depend on how fking hot the new AM5 CPU is). But ATM, each AM5 motherboard cost even more than a 7600X. Still using that? seriously?

Wait for affordable B650 boards, I doubt X670 ones are worth the price unless you are going for 7950X or 7900X

@@bobvila4381 prob at some point but nothing like the 5000 where you could not buy one all sold out in 2 min plenty every where and the b series boards are going to cost Alot more than you think so that may not help matters.
