The 4 iron nails version is actually shown in the original anime where it has tons of drawing mistakes. It shows some of the Zgok has 4, some has 3. Same goes to many equipment for other MS. Like the arguy, sometimes seeing the rocket arm became nails. well, of course later they just changed to say that is an optional parts to clear out/ cover their mistake. But by that time, it would be after the original anime was re-aired and got a little bit famous.

Before anything else: where do people keep getting the idea that Anaheim Electronics absorbed not only Zeonic, but also Zimmad & MIP? (I'm already fearing the answer being: the Gundam wikia). Zimmad stayed behind with the Republic of Zeon and was in charge of maintaining their military equipment. I don't recall anything specific being told about MIP, but once you look at what they actually made, you realize it wasn't anywhere as close as the other two companies, and to make matters worse, the EF took no interest in their most successful product: the Z'gok itself, instead opting to use the Zaku Marine Type and Zaku Mariner for their amphibious needs.

me & many mistaking they took scientist, engineers & workers as absorbing. so a oversight there also thank you for pointing it out and now i have to sit here and think of the fact the fed picked the zaku marine type over the zgok, wonder which higher up came up with that amazing choice

@@slothcakes Sorry about that, but I think in the last couple of years I have seen more and more comments repeating the same without a proper source, so I was actually wondering if something official had been said on the matter. As for the EF choosing the Zakus, my guess is they simply went for the cheapest option. Like I commented in the other video, the machine the RMS-192M Zaku Mariner was based on was the M-1 version of the Zaku Marine Type, or basically the worse version of the Zaku Marine type that was rejected in favor of the one we are familiar with, also known as the M-2 version. The one area I could imagine M-1/RMS-192M beating the M-2/MSM-01 is in cost: at least externally the M-1 seems to have more parts in common with a standard MS-06F, so I suppose that would help to make it even cheaper than the M-2 type. Seeing how the RMS-188MD is supposed to be for deep salvage operations, I’m inclined to think that they used a MSM-01, likely a Marien Hizack as a base, improved it with gundarium and added some additional componentes better suited for its task. The Zaku Mariner on the other hand basically became a viable amphibious MS thanks to its gundarium armor that helped it overcome some of the problems of the original design, namely the need of waterproof seals that the Zaku Marine Type added, while making it overall more pressure resistant.

@@ZeonicFenrir No problem I enjoy reading ur comments they are always filled with helpful info realistically i do see a military picking the cheapest option rather than the better but more expensive on the upside tho with the zaku it would be easy to modify since it has so many damn variants however i do want to know what the variants the fed/ titans would make if they picked the zgok instead. I would like to see a hi-gasshia

To the question as to why the z'gok has four iron nails if you look right after char stabs the gm his z'gok looks to have four iron nails maybe thats why some kits have the option for either three or four. Pause at 10:56

4 iron nails you say: The number 4 in Japan has connotations because it is sometimes pronounced "shi" (四), which is exactly how the Japanese word for death is spoken 4 = deadly (for the rule of cool) but also can mean unluck and if you encounter a enemy z'goc you are probably unlucky unless in a rx78

Classic Z'Gok is my favorite mobile suit so far (I've only seen the original series and Char's counter attack). I just built the RG Char's Z'Gok kit as my first gunpla and it was a blast.

I have the games listen on the description I didnt use any mobile games in this video. the 3rd person shooter is battle operation 2, the older looking game is federation vs zeon, the SD hack n slash is SD battle alliance, the turn base game is SD G generation genesis

ngl. compared to other beam weapons at the time. The Zgok beam weapons are really fucking bad compared to other units at the time xD. but for Zeon its the first Spammy usable beam weapons so good on them.
