Hands down, the best outfit reveal of all time on a tv show -- November 13, 1976, The Carol Burnett Show (Episode 10.8; "Went with the Wind") - the Miss Starlett green dress with golden embroidery, gold tassels for a hat, and a matching curtain rod. "I saw it in a window and couldn't resist." The outfit now hangs in the Smithsonian Institute.

The Alayne Stone look was just a miss, this is supposed to be a character that fades into the background, a bastard daughter who was training to be a septa as her background goes would not be wearing such a revealing gown.

I disagree. The ultimate outfit is by far Moira Rose from Schitt's Creek putting on her dress she bought for the premiere of The Crows Have Eyes 3 for the first time. It is one of the most heartbreaking scenes and shows just how much she's grown as a character. She realizes that her family can't afford it and immediately returns it after one try on. Also, the reveal of the Moira Pope outfit. That was definitely one of the best costumes I have ever seen.
