If you want to live in Capeside, Tree Hill or Bluebell you might as well move to Wilmington, North Carolina since that's where a majority of those series were actually filmed. If I had my choice of fictional places to live I would want to live in Everwood or Stars Hallow.

The definition of small town seems pretty fluid. Some of these places may not be primary population centers, but are set within a megalopolis. In contrast, I grew up in the part of the US where the nearest city larger than 100,000 is Winnipeg, but now live in a place that is struggling to have a small town feel while surrounded by urban sprawl.

The acting was awful, the "life lessons" were condescending and over the top, it had tons of unnecessary religious propaganda, the stories were terrible, the characters were unlikable cardboard cutouts, The ONLY good part of 7th Heaven was the town of Glen Oak CA, I would want to live there and go to the pool hall, eat Pete's pizza, and have a Blizzard at the Dairy Shack.
