I remember from the radiant vs silvers, the viper didn't have hacks on in that game from what i remember. He was so bad that the other radiants were like "no way he actually got to radiant" and pretty much got exposed after one of the radiants clued him on a potential cheater. He essentially got exposed coz he was really bad. May be a different video though coz my memory ain't the most accurate and i tend to mix things up.

That includes going into lower elo lobbies to Smurf or boost an account to a rank they don't deserve as that is both dishonest and unfair towards the players who's games you ruin. man I had a teammate who was streaming and sharing his twitch tag while we were playing, the guy didn't really care that the enemy was stream sniping to him and we didn't care at first cause we were owning 12-3, and then suddenly all of the enemy was watching the stream and we couldn't win a round because of it. edit: I don't know why I said twitch tag it was a KZbin Livestream, and it wasn't 12-3 as well but we were winning by a big difference before the enemy was stream sniping

Does anyone else remember a player by the name FN Craze that was accused of hacking by Wardell in beta? I remember the guy streamed a game on Haven against Wardell and Subroza. I think he was walling since he'd always hold his crosshair really tight to angles and would know where the enemies were pushing each round. He said Wardell was just jealous of his godlike reaction time cause he'd kill them before they even had a millisecond to peek. The dude deleted his twitch and all YT vids of the Haven clips are gone.

Though its very, very hard in valorant, you need a very fast reaction to that stimuli and also get somewhat lucky with rubberbanding packets

I've been banned 3 times 2 years ago for no reason, luckily I've recorded my gameplay and got unban after i submit my ticket. I asked them what the problem behind my constant ban, but they cant give me the answer. Luckily it didn't happen again after the 3rd time. I know there was an issue with val not letting you play if you had a specific software to over clock your graphics card, so if it was that long ago it might have been something weird like the software you use for your mouse or headset setting off an alarm after an update and them not giving you a reason because it might look bad their anti cheat is false banning. just speculation

You really cant ban stream sniping as it happens outside the game itself. can it be an advantage? sure, but its an advantage the enemy provides for you. Is it unethical to abuse that advantage? perhaps, but it still shouldnt be bannable. Imagine you are playing a match of tennis. Before the match your opponent posts an update on social media saying that his right shoulder has been hurting the last few days so hes unable to shoot properly with his backhand half the time. Is it unethical to abuse this knowledge? perhaps, but you sure as hell are going to do it anyway. I dont streamsnipe myself, but it often happens that one of my teammates do. as my main game is league, the way to abuse sniping is by pinging the enemies location when they arent visible on your map. So while im laning i might get a retreat ping from my sniping teammate which means im about to get collapsed on. is it unethical of me to act on the ping and back off? perhaps, but you guessed it, im sure as hell going to do it anyway. whether that information came from within the game(wards and vision in general) or from my sniping teammate i STILL have that information and i will act on it regardless.

Cheaters, smurfs and trolls are hated by tons of people. Which at times i wish smurfs could get reported too. I recently played a game of comp and the enemy raze was a peak Ascendant 1 in bronze/iron lobbies. Their gaming history was so obvious that they were trolling and throwing too because theyd go 1-10 then other games drop 35 and stuff. I sent riot full proof of them being a smurf and they still wont do anything. I wish theyd focus on smurfs and trolls more than nerfing and buffing weapons or agents.

They are very careful when executing plays and uses their teammates mistakes on their advantage. While a cheater will just plain head up straight where your teams gonna go and wipe it. And you can always tell that they challenging every teammates you have that is peaking on mid (Cheaters will be more obvious when they are defending but still tries to peak whenever they can because they are either using wallhack or aimbot that will completely give them a kill.

But any higher then that it's suspicious if you still have no idea what your doing or what your supposed to be doing. Hell if someone is just playing a new agent and doesnt know how to use them properly that's different. But if your like level 40-100+ you should have a solid grasp of how the game functions at that point and I shouldn't see you peeking inappropriately, rushing into the enemy on defense , or ya know just anything a kill hungry newbie would do I usually get suspicious . I am pretty mechanically gifted naturally and have played many fps games including counter strike which translated very well into valorant (atleast in terms of aiming and i would argue that its actually easier to hit people in valorant). I wasnt smurfing or cheating, It just felt natural from the very beginning. in those games(unrated) i played with my girlfriend whos about gold and was held back quite a lot because she screams all the time. and yet in my first (and only) ever ranked game i was put in a full ascendant lobby and still managed to outperform everyone. Im not just saying this to brag im just saying that its very possible for "new" players to completely stomp their first few games. if you are good at csgo, its almost impossible for you not to be somewhat good at valorant. if you are good at battlefield, its almost impossible for you not to be somewhat good at call of duty. skill just transfer very smoothly between those games

It seems that many people don’t understand what cheating and hacking is. The word cheating is commonly used when someone is hacking but it’s not the same. Cheating means that someone plays unfairly using „bad tacktics”. Boosting and stream sniping are forms of cheating. Hacking means that someone manipulates the game itself to gain adventage eg. wallhack and aimbot. For example in poker the form of cheating would be looking in someones’ cards (in valo stream sniping) or when elite player signs up for an amatour tournament under different identity to win prize for someone who hired them (boosting). And when it comes to hacking player would straight up swap cards to gain adventage. So yes, the first guy was cheating. Doesn’t matter if riot bans people like them or not.

I was playing unrated once, I'm from low elo so I don't really mind playing with good players when playing unrated even if it's in the enemy. But the enemy Jett was soo obviously cheating that even his own teammates were suspecting him as well. We reported him and he's indeed cheating (we receive that cheating detected screen). Like why are you cheating on an Unrated lobby with players on low elo? How low can you go? I just don't understand these people who cheat 😅

i actually once got banned on valorant. it was in the middle of the match and match got terminated. i was confused cause i have never cheated in valorant my entire life so i just didnt know wtf had happened. 5 min later i join the game and im not banned at all its just match got deleted/terminated as if it never existed and i played ranked afterwards. idk why that happened or wtf it was but i guess sometimes valorant just plays with u

I dont understand why smurfing is considered cheating. Like sure its not fun to play against people creating new accounts and are just better than you. But i wouldn't consider it dishonest or unfair, as the account is still new and still needs the elo to be evaluated properly. It's annoying probably. But I still wouldn't go as far as to say it's cheating... Boosting however that's a different story, and really should get the accounts that are boosted banned, not necessarily the booster itself.

Yeah if Michael Jordan goes into a kindergarten match under disguise, it's not cheating. It doesn't matter, it completely ruins the experience of the game for the 9 other peoples involved and that's a fucking plague on any competitive games to get insecure basement dwellers that peaked and now take it out on lower brackets because they don't want to improve anymore. The player @ 2:35 may have been advertising/demoing the hack... it's not uncommon for people selling cheats to use livestreaming as a way to sell their "wares." Or it could have been someone who was just livestreaming to a bunch of friends & decided to download cheats for fun.... good to see they wasted their money!

Streamsniping is bannable offence by Riot since it gives the sniper a huge advantage on the game BUT that being said, proving someone was sniping is most of the time extremely difficult unlike normal hacks/cheats
