Paris and I might disagree on many policy issues but I do not doubt she is a person of impeccable character who respects the rule of law. Given that out of 16 million early votes and states that track gender women have been voting 10.4% more frequently than men I am confident women will save democracy. The interview with the panel of black men was some really powerful stuff. I was moved to tears by that one brother explaining how doing everything he was supposed to do with his pregnant wife still wasn't enough to protect her from harm when she went to give birth (by the statistics, she most likely suffered from post pardum hemmorhaging enhanced by a case of pre-eclampsia). I'm heartened to know that these men are speaking out to encourage their peers in their community to vote Blue for the women in their lives.
