There’s going to be a lot of damage. Those houses are not built to withstand hurricane force winds like in south Florida. Homes in South Florida are built out of cinder blocks and designed to withstand cat 4 hurricanes. North Florida homes are built with lumber.

DeSatan encourages distrust in any agency that tries to protect citizens, so it doesn't surprise me. But yes there are some that are maybe unable because they're mentally unwell or feel unsafe going to shelters. There is good support from first responders that if you can't get out because of health or something like that they will get people. My dad's duplex was one of the only houses still standing on his road, but it had been totally under water. I'm 55. In 2005, I worked on contract with FEMA for Hurricane Katrina. From experience, trust me, not enough was done to warn Florida before this storm hit. That is on the head of the governor.
