Trump is not going to prison people. The prosecution's entire case hinges on the testimony of Mr Cohen who the defense did a good job of discrediting. Also, something that MSNBC never reported on was the testimony of the accountant. She actually testified that she put the payment through as "legal services" because she thought that was the best category and never actually told Mr Trump about it.

IF he is found guilty, it will be up to the Judge whether he serves time or not. The Judge will be held to certain rules and protocols here and can't just let him walk away if he has been found guilty. It will be then either a probation order, fine OR a custodial sentence; the latter being most likely due to the fact that Cohen served 3 years for a lesser offence. The Judge will be aware of that. I see Trump getting 1 year at least.
