This lawless, fearful, angry group loves Trump for this, and they believe his lies when he says he will never take their guns away from them, etc. They have witnessed him taking away women's freedoms; they have heard him say he plans to change the Constitution (to include the 2nd Amendment, oh by the way), but they ignore this, believing he will never do such things to them. So....they vote for him, only to discover that it was all lies when the Party of Law and Order and "Godliness" starts to implement Project 2025. I have read a few chapters of P25. Finally we have the Republican plan for health insurance. 1. The ACA will be repealed, which includes pre existing condition protections. 2. Health insurance won’t be a pre tax deduction on your paycheck. 3. Your employer won’t be able to deduct health insurance (see the Department of the Treasury chapter for a lot of this). My bet is companies won’t offer things that aren’t a deduction. Health insurance will be a private transaction. Think of any insurance you have now, car, home, life, etc, The rates will be based on risk. This is you remember was the GOP replacement for the ACA in 2017 which led them to lose the House. You might be cool with Authoritarianism, but there is so much more in P25. Good luck voting Republicans out once P25 is enacted.

There is a chapter on shutting down NPR. They will eliminate what little federal money NPR gets, but they realize that much of NPR is supported by private donations. So, their plan is to use the "power of the Presidency" to lean on individuals and corporations to stop their funding and use similar pressure on radio stations that broadcast NPR.
