I'm laughing because you growl when you find something special. Earlier I was watching Northern Mudlarks, a mother and daughter in Scotland. The daughter also growls upon an exciting find. In her case it was a maggot baby, a tiny ceramic swaddled baby that is paired with a doll. She thought it was a ceramic limb and her voice deepened as she pulled it out. Too funny yet endearing.

Beautiful haul. My Mom would place linens that were smaller than the table by turning them a quarter turn so the corners go to a place setting. Then, either with a solid base cloth or just leave the wood and use coordinating place mats. Anyway, love how you keep finding Beautiful things for your home. . 💚

I do that sometimes too. I found a beautiful embroidery card table cloth that I could not resist. I bought it. I bought four plain white linen placemats and embroidered them to coordinate by featuring four different flowers from the cloth. Each cloth was different but formed a set. I also bought 8 linen napkins and embroidered a sprig of ivy and ferns in a corner to match the greenery in the cloth. My table is beautiful when set like that using my mother's china.

Just put it caty corner on your table it will be beautiful! After loosing our home, gofundmehetzel couple looses everything in fire pinal county Florence Arizona we will be starting over, hopefully we will have a home,soon so we can start garage sales,. I just can't wait to have a bed with clean sheets, a clean towel and a shower. That would men the world too me. My neighbor gave me e a yadro angel a large one, my first piece of glass for our new home when we get one.. Hi Selina! As for the tablecloth, it doesn’t matter if it “fits” your table or not. You can place it diagonally or layer it over another tablecloth! I recently say a table decorated with 3 or 4 layered vintage cloths and it looked fabulous! It gives a cottage vibe.

About that gorgeous tablecloth…. I would buy a dark green tablecloth that would fit the dining room table and match the leaves on the lilacs and then I would put the lilac tablecloth over it and of course center it. Then I would buy some lavender napkins to use when I had company for dinner. I’m 68 and I’ve never seen a tablecloth that is so beautiful! Great find!

I can not believe the luck you had with your art. You really need to have them appraised and insured. I think you will find that you probably have at least two treasures. Scrunch your lilac tablecloth up on the center of your dining room table. Place a bowl or vase in the center with candles on each side and your table will look beautiful. I do this with cloths that are too small for my table but I love them and still want to use them.

When I arrived at her home which was over a hours drive.I would find her waiting with all the addresses in order , a map which was all numbered and off we would go…she was like your mum, out of the car, racing up the path. What a fabulous Day, I can’t decide if your art work or pottery makes my heart sing! Selena, check and see if there is an USA mark on the bottom of the smaller pot, or any mark. It could be an early piece of Haeger Earth Wrap. Remember, there were potteries, that used paper stickers instead of back stamps. Mc Coy and Haeger had a specific line is pottery made for the Florist Business. Your parents are adorable, count your blessings every adventure! I love the plant in that beautiful planter. My mother used to have the pots with the matching pedestal that were ceramic made in Mexico long ago. It says the vlog I am delighted to watch at 4:15am est time now a new addict to your amazing channel...well if you haven't made the beautiful lilac table cloth you thrifted for $1.00 with your mom at the church thrift marathon day sakes which was adorable please do not chop it up. I would keep it as is and only use it as an in good weather when you are dining outside on your outdoor patio table as you hinted you might do. Even though you said the fabric is thick it is too beautiful to let the outside elements ruin it as outdoor pillows, etc. Just my thoughts having decorated many a gorgeous large mansion in my life including my own with beautiful items especially period piece and vintage special finds. God bless and you are so very lucky to still have your mom to enjoy. I list mine a few years back to one of the most horrible diseases that affects the brain in terrible ways from end stage parkinson's disease and she was my absolute best friend for 83 years of her life but the last six years ribbed me of her as she was experiencing hallucinations, lying, being violent and extremely mean towards me which was not at all who she was the other years if her amazing life. I try to remember the prior happy times. I don't understand why such horrible diseases exist and because she had the static kind without shaking she never told me about her disease so I couldn't figure out why the horrible treatment towards me the last very terrifying 6 years of her life. I am still mourning her. She was my ride and die best friend. Just always enjoy your time with your family because you just never know. Again God Bless!

That table cloth was so pretty. You could layer it at an angle over a solid full size table cloth. Kind of like a diamond in a square and just the corners would hang off the edge of the table. If that makes sense.

Selina: If the table cloth is too small you can alway double layer your table. You can put a solid color one that fits the table properly and then angle that flower one on top. I have a wedge wood blue solid one on my table with a smaller solid lace one angled on top. I love the look. Maybe put a soft green table cloth on bottom and layer that one on top. My favorite is the blue and white spice rack, what a find! Oh and the Teva sandals. Oh and the Harry & David spreader set! I wear Teva’s all summer long on the beach.
