How best tent orientation for face winds with this shed gear? I plan run a elixir 2 plus shed gear. But I'm concerned about wind.

Great video! Always wondered about the shed. Will it fit a hybrid touring bicycle (laying the bike on its side)? Planning a tour this summer and I am concerned where to put the bike while sleeping.

The floor dimensions are 67" x 80" and it is about 35" inches tall. While we cannot be sure your bike will fit, but our guess is that there is enough room. You would just need to maybe use the back door for getting in and out of your tent.

Good question! MSR's website says the Gear Shed "Fits Elixir 1, 2, 3 and Hubba NX, Hubba Hubba NX, Mutha Hubba NX." Thanks for watching!

Will that shed extension be waterproof is it’s a wild night?

The Gear Shed is made with the same Ripstop Polyester 1500mm PU/DWR and 70D Taffeta Nylon 3000mm PU/DWR as many tents, so it should perform well in rain. The vulnerability would be along the ground level since it does not have a bathtub floor like a tent.

It would be interesting to see if anyone has used the gear shed to convert an elixir or hubba to a hot tent

I have put my tent without the rainfly underneat the Nortent Bivuak, worked out very well.

No, they are similar but different items

Thanks - the MSR instructions are rubbish and I have never managed to get the fly sheet to work properly with the Gear Shed
