At 3M, centralized workshopping of such innovation and modernization is routine. Most importantly, we have to ask ourselves, "do you find me pleasing?"-or, "this man is wearing a push-up bra, now, he is pleasing!"

It's a great short, & Bonnie Baker (read = Judy) was very cute. Tht said, its 22:30 run time stretches the limit of the word "short". Lots of TV shows (minus the commercials) are that long.

Honestly, I find Ed Wood's "passion-projects" far better than his garbage horror flicks. I can sorta feel the effort and drive behind them, like he tried his hardest to tell a story, to make a point, explain something to us that he is concerned with and cares about, even if he doesn't do it well.

If you watch any variety show from the 50s, they're just as obvious about the products they're endorsing as this short is. Entire sketches were written specifically for products. If you didn't want a half hour long commercial, you had to be watching a sitcom or a movie. Now imagine how exciting it was for The Violent Years to appear on T.V. instead of product placement jokes.
