Hello. On that day, we were working with an excavator, which unfortunately broke down. That's why we didn't wear waders. My brother joined me so late because at the time I was starting the dam removal, then he went to pack the excavator onto the tow truck. Wish you enjoy watching :)

Not often anymore that you get to see someone work that long at a extremely tiring job without breaks. Also not just a v cut to drain but cleared to the river bottom. Gentlemen, you have my admiration. Never did this type work but raised on a farm I know what an effort it is. I mean why was it so important to open that up. That was a lot of mud holding those branches tog ether but they'll just bring them back. That is great camp fire wood for for someones fireplace I kept watching cause I thot for s ure one of ur yanks on a branch and ud have fallen on ur butt.but u didn't itive u credit took a lot of time and strength to keep doing that till it was done that's why I thot they'd have a back joe come in and do it and u could have driven it piled all the wood up and who ever wants it could have gotten it.im from PA and that was an everyday sight in the mountains in pa.but that's the most beautiful state in the world never will b a prettier state but I'm prejudice.

Now ponder the billion+ living things on earth e.g., plants, insects, animals, etc-perfectly formed to instinctively do that which is specific to them-by chance? It's been proven the laws the "govern" all things e.g., physics, science, nature, etc *cannot* write themselves; and since that is true how can these "governing laws" exist without a "law giver?" No I don't wonder-Gods word and evolutionists like Aldous Huxley remove any doubt. Huxley's book: Confessions of a Professed Atheist: "For myself, as no doubt for most of my contemporaries, the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an *instrument of liberation.* *"The liberation we desired* was simultaneously a liberation from a certain political and economic system and a *liberation from a certain system of morality.* We objected to the morality because *it interfered with our sexual freedom.”* No doubts here.

Haha it wasn't like that. I should add some descriptions to the video so that viewers would be informed about certain facts. On that day, we were working with an excavator, unfortunately the excavator arm broke down. That's why I was left to remove this dam by hand, and my brother went to pack the excavator on a tow truck and came close to me, that's why he joined so late.

You are a fit, strong man with stamina on an impressive scale! You clearly understand beavers and the best ways to dismantle their handiwork in unwanted places - and I see you are not averse to using machinery . . . when it is working!
@msTECH86
@msTECH86 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your words of appreciation. Unfortunately, the best form is behind me, but I still hold on;) In fact, most of the work is done with an excavator, because it would be difficult to dismantle all these beaver dams by hand. So an excavator is irreplaceable, but it cannot be reached everywhere. Greetings from Poland :)

How long would it have taken the beaver’s to build this dam. Over several seasons? How many beavers working together to build? Can you estimate how long this dam were here? Thanks. Mound, Minnesota USA
@msTECH86
@msTECH86 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. This is how you can estimate how long ago the beaver dam was built. So in my opinion this dam was built in winter, so it can be up to six months old. Dams that are built recently, even if they are tall and wide, do not accumulate much of the silt that settles on them with the flowing water. On the other hand, dams that are older than a year have a layer of soil on them and are overgrown with grass and sheepskins, and the layer of silt at the base of the dam can be up to several meters long. Hope my answer helped :)
