MSX - Yamanooto 8MB Edition Stereo SD-Snatcher.

The stereo is a nice feature, but here are some suggestions of improvement for a next revision of this cartridge: 1) Add a 3.57MHz crystal to the cartridge, for the note frequency generation. This way it won't have distorted sound frequency on turbo machines 2) Add a ground plane to both sides of the PCB 3) Completely separate the analog part from the digital part, with some area of ground plane separating the two. (2) and (3) will help to eliminate the audio digital noise contamination from the CPU and VDP that this cartridge has.

I hope the developers will see your brilliant suggestions and make improvements. As far as I know, the developers have made a lot of effort to justify the price.

The cartridge has everything you mention, except the independent oscillator. I think the computer itself is causing all these interferences. We never experienced interference on any of the computers we tested. There are 1300 Yamanooto around the world and this is the first time this problem has been reported.

More than 3 diskettes are needed to store the data. It seems to be slightly insufficient.

Since it is a flash cartridge, that is also possible.
