Maiden Voyage is timelessly wonderful. My favourite of all time, from the moment I first heard it. Bobby H is also an utter Jazz Giant. Incredible span of incredible albums over the years. God bless Herbie and Bobby alike!

I always thought Bobby hurcherson played beautiful music, and maiden voyage is such a song. This bands not bad too . A late find bravo. I'm adding this is best version I have ever heard , I listen daily now cos it's astonishing I'm flabbergasted

and Herbie played classical music at a young age, with orchestras, and does Nicheren Buddhism from Japan, maybe here in Japan with Bobby, there was an extra depth
