Cry... ...Wolf Cry... ...Wolf When you... Wolf I have no idea what these lyrics mean, but after looking through the web for lyrics to hard to understand parts, the song changed a lot for me. As it is a pretty unknown EP, theirs no real info for the meaning I could find, but I came to the conclusion that the person who the song's point of view (Who I will call Person 1) follows used to have a person pretty significant to them (Person 2). That person then did something bad to them that hurt Person 1 as heard in "I wonder how to go on, I knew you left me there." I kind of think the wolves are a metaphor for something... Mabie depression or some other mental disorder of Person 1? Or the two people could have had a fight of some kind that led to the Person 1 getting left behind/alone. This was from "Did you reason that the better man had won?" Anyway, I have no idea honesty what the meaning of this song is.

It's like the story of the boy who cried wolf but instead of it being a boy crying wolf it's a bigger betrayal. Possibly a betrayal of crying love. And you say it so often that when you do mean it, no one believes it. Or it could be a betrayal of trust between friends, best friends. Only the artist singing knows the context. But that's the beauty, we all have someone who cried wolf in our lives and we've probably done the same so we can relate and feel the sadness and pain. It all happens for a reason and to teach us a lesson. We all need to learn to forgive and then trust again.
