I’m glad your perfecting your van building skills, so when I bring my van by it will be a quick install.😂

Nice sturdy cabinet at a reasonable price.Adventure wagon has the mule bag system on L tracks but 2 bags runs at $800.00. U.S. plus the L track. I was possibly looking for some similar duffle bags that could be hung on L tracks. Thank you for sharing your system. Very functional and strong.

Yeah I was pretty frustrated with the prices of cabinets by most van build companies which is why I built my own. I did however see some very reasonable priced stuff by browsing on Etsy beleive it or not. Seems to be a pretty good resource for items that aren't exactly mainstream...

For the gasket install, would a spline tool help to push into the 8020, similar to replacing the gasket in a screen door?
@Projectnortheast9 ай бұрын
Probably? I know it killed my hands trying to put it in!

How do ya like the 10 series compared to the 15 or higher? Do ya find it beefy enough?
@Projectnortheast Жыл бұрын
Plenty beefy for shelves and stuff... and alot easier to work with and lighter

@@Projectnortheast Thanks for the reply. So would you say that cabinetry for fridge and kitchen ... 10 series is good to go? Appreciate your time.

Is it worth putting a little anti rust paint on the Rivnut so it squishes onto wet paint when you cinch it up?
@Projectnortheast2 жыл бұрын
I mean, honestly I think it's a bit overkill. I did the whole just because it was bare metal and figured I would. I also run a webasto heater so I'm not ever worried about moisture build up in my van so 99% sure it'll never see any rust inside the vehicle... maybe if I was doing it on an exterior panel or frame it would be a good idea, but then I would most likely just seal it after installation...

Nice work. Any chance you have a link to the gasket material you used to keep the bottom pieces of wood from rattling?

It's 10 series 8020 economy gasket. Can Google it and find it pretty easy. Installing... wasn't easy lol

When connecting to the Transit consumer connection point are you plugging into the solar input port on the goal zero? I should be taking delivery of a 2021 AWD with dual batteries and the adventure package in about 10 days from now.
@Projectnortheast3 жыл бұрын
Mmm no you don't wanna do that. I connected to the CCPs via the yeti car link module which you would need to connect to the ccps. I am working on that video now but have run into some snags where goal zero wants my unit back for troubleshooting.

I am about to set rivnuts in the ribs after enlarging the same holes you did. When you set the 80/20, did you find it magically lined up 90 degrees everywhere or did you have to make any adjustments?
@Projectnortheast Жыл бұрын
definitely not 90 degrees... I cut aluminum angle and if I needed to get the angle right I'd hit em with a hammer lol. I also mounted 3/16" rubber behind the angle to the van so I wouldnt' get vibration loosening/noise

Great video! You gave me some juicy ideas. I am worried about getting rid of the foam blobs, though. Is that a safety hazard? Where did you get the headliner trim piece? What gasket material did you use?
@Projectnortheast3 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by foam blobs... the headliner trim peice came with my van as its the crew version. The gasket material is 8020 you can order it directly from them or find it other places. It's just the 10 series panel gasket...

What kind of nuts did you use the 1/4-20 inside the ceiling holes?
