Here's a Tree/Tris deck I've been playing pretty successfully. www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/576391#online The pingers are really good vs the saheeli combo. It can have trouble with vehicles sometimes, but they can't really interact with enchantments or their own life total so as long as you can survive to turn 6, you have a decent chance of winning

been testing this deck. it is VERY competitive after about 11 matches I've only lost one. there were only 2 non "competitive" decks I faced. This one is most impressive for sure. GJ

I'm surprised your not playing event one Authority of the Consuls. Authority of the Consuls is an outstanding counter against Mardu Vehicles as well as stopping copy cat outright. Play tests already shows that when Mardu Vehicles don't have a way of taking out Authority, it basically says "Mardu Vehicales deck wins 3 to 4 turns later" which is really bad news for Mardu Vehicles as they need that damage pushed it fast. It's especially devastating on turn 3 as it prevents a Veteran Motorist from coming in and crewing Heart which essentially turns into a 6 life swing plus any other life gained from other creatures hitting the battlefield on turns 1 and 2. Authority also makes Fumigate far more playable main deck as they can no longer reliably crew their vehicles on their next turn.

As far as future decktechs go, still hoping for the G/W revolt recursion decktech with Rallier and Treasure keeper. As a casual player I agree with this decktech, pretty cool deck, far out of my financial reach 'but', the power and enjoyment of this channel is the mix of really competitive and competitive (or fun) budget deck techs, combined with Dev's character and enthusiasm for them... i actually think that if this channel had just either of them it would be less then half as interesting ... just like the intro raps, 'its all in the mix'

What would you think of adding Renegade Maps? artifact for Toolcraft or to tap for Herald, and a great revolt enabler as well, I add a few to every deck with Fatal Push that i'm thinking up. you will only search for the land when you need it, and unlike evolving wilds, the land will come untapped. I have been very impressed with it so far.

Eric Todman III Perhaps test out Dev's Mardu Reanimator deck. I did really well with it at the last Game Day despite not having any of the new cards from Aether Revolt in it. It may need a little tweaking but it's got a lot of power and can respond to all the major threats out there at the moment. Or check out Dev's Blue/Black Control deck he did a couple of weeks ago. It has all the best removal and control pieces in the format, although you might want to add in another win condition, like a Herald of Anguish or something. And then there's this deck here. I'm gonna try sleeve it up a bit later today and see how it runs, but from the looks of it it seems super powerful. Dev is just the best.

My team took a version of BW Midrange to GP Pittsburgh. Everyone was on GB and that is definitely the decks toughest matchup. Even though it is almost even, GB just edges it out.

Some thoughts: We have some ways of dealing with vehicles here, so is it necessary to have 4x Fragmentize? Why not a 2-of and then sideboard something like Succumb to Temptation for added card draw? Or 2x Gideon and 1x Ob Nixilis for replenishing your hand late game?

i like the way this deck looks and sounds. Couple questions though. would you think dropping 1 land to add a 2nd transgress the mind is too much? And would you think running maybe 2 or 3 evolving wilds can justify THEN to consider To The Slaughter sideboard? maybe 2 wilds main 1 side. thins out deck and triggers revolt and can help with delirium?

why Gideon an heart? he makes a 2/2 at 4 loyalty. u can crew heart twice before ur next turn and still be at 4 loyalty with tezzeret. and tezzeret is in the on curve black cost for scrapheap scrounger to also crew the kiran

I would lower the mana base 1 or 2. I have play tested this deck multiple times and I always see too many lands. It is very competitive and has won every game I tested it in but got mana flooded almost every one.

Cards okay, just such a large investment for not a big enough payoff. meanwhile, 6 mana elsewhere gets you a 5/6 at instant speed that's almost always at least net positive.

Strictly Better MtG Maybe try this mana? 4 Courtyard, 4 Vent, 2 Forbidden Sanctuary, 8 Swamp, 7 Plains. It's your minimum requirements -2. Not being green, you have to eat the extra tap lands.

Also, Stasis Snare is very good right now for any deck that can cast it. Clean out to Scrounger, Gideon, etc. at instant speed and enchant removal isn't very common at all (though the thought off Mardu picking up Anguished is terrorizing.)
