I would build it as Rakdos Reanimator with Terror of the Peaks for ETB damage on the Scourge. You could even use Call of the Death-Dweller to bring back Scourge and a 1-Drop to give it deathtouch or menace 😎⭐️

That doesn't work, because Scourge's power is */* which means it's not a 20/20 at any point, even though Death's shadow is a 13/13 in your hand and graveyard. Your terror of the peaks trigger would deal damage equal to Scourge's current power, which is always 20 minus the highest life total of all players. Source: I'm a judge.

@@MagicAids I would use the website untap.in to film your videos that have cards that are not yet released. It is essentially a open CCG website and you can play a lot of other CCGs too (magic is the most played though). It is 100% free and I would recommend you check it out.

Ty Fuqua That isn’t the goal of untapped.in . It was just made as an alternative to MTGO, and is 100% free. You can play any format on it (mostly edh and modern), but I’m just recommending it to him because it plays like mtgo without all the bugs. It doesn’t tell you your triggers, but generally it isn’t that hard to remember them.

I don’t know if daddy plays commander but if you have scourge in the graveyard and mutate Nethroi at 40 life, scourge is a -20/-20 which means you can target it and reanimate an additional 20 power of creatures onto the board. I’d love to see some commander videos from senpai someday ☺️

@@reubyncarter4793 the problem is that those are relatively dead cards if you don't draw the scourge or they have pushes etc. Battle rage works in shadow decks because they run a more control shell to protect and find their shadows, and it is good with angler anyway.

I heard that Rakdos prowess is strong. It has most of the burn creatures however the process triggers come from discard spells and I feel like scourge will find a great home there. You protect the scourge by forcing discard and lowering your life total to stop burn from killing it while smashing face.

Hey, Daddy, I think this list with vexing devil and claim // fame would be really gas. Even if opponent have tons of removal they should suffer like hell if you have claim // fame, not to mention that this card is really good with vexing devil and can give haste to skyclaves.

I'd love to see a blend with kiln fiend. Just a super high threat t2 that the opponent has to deal with. Can run dismember for both removal and life loss.

Wait hang on. It could in a self-mill mutate play style. And it gets better if facing life gain. Because it’s power goes to the negatives, it can allow for extra power to when mutating the Apex of Death. Apex of Forever can allow easy mutation triggers since you can cast it for Mutate from the graveyard and both use Green and Black in their mutate cost. If we play around with a GB Delirium shell, I’m sure something could happen. Having 3 copies of this demon in the yard with a player at 21 life means you get to return Emrakul Promised End. Could be worth a look at in Pioneer.

I could see Mardu Suicide Burn becoming a new boogieman of modern with Scourge. The card will probably work very well with a slight build around, or a readjusting of an existing mardu burn deck. Main/side board Skullcrack/Leyline of (not gaining life) to fight Martyr Providence.

I mean, Shadow was played in Zoo as a twist on the list, and Zoo is just burn with G/W. I don't see why it wouldn't splash B and add Shadow back in with this thing since the whole list is a fetch/shock list in 4 colors that specializes in racing your opponent. It isn't held to the same restrictions that current Shadow lists are, and you could play the best format removal for any permanent type plus you would have access to a TON of hate and sideboard tech. It might end up a jumbled mess, but I think at least one person will do something with it. Or also you could completely ignore me because I commented my thoughts before finishing your intro, the Mardu list is nice 👌👌

Using the Sideboard and being able to play Lurrus would make this deck incredible. I feel like this deck would be fast enough against most of the meta, and could even play discard in the sideboard to trigger prowess and protect our creatures similar to how shadow wants to protect its heavily invested threats. Against Combo decks this deck would be absolutely disgusting, but against dredge this deck would probably concede. We probably need 4 leylines of the void and surgical extractions so that we can have a game against those decks

I think you forgot to cover over the dark confidant with scourge in the end graphic. That does raise an interesting question, though - how would scourge play in a deck that runs dark confidant? Maybe worth considering over some number of eidolons, since you mentioned that eidolon felt a bit rough?
