I've had some good luck with the theme boosters. I got a Rakdos and a orzhov. I pulled good cards and not so many duplicates. Even in the prerelease I got the Rakdos pack and I still pulled good cards.

I'm right there with a few others it seems: Simic. I'm just beginning the Magic. Me and my partner got a Duel Deck to Share - she took the gobbos, I took the Merfolk. Simic makes it all right - Always gravitated against green, and like blue shenanigans. The background of the guild tickles me just right as well. Keep the vids coming - you explain things well enough for a noob to catch some clues!

Definitely Azorious by far! I like it because of two reasons. First, it represents me as a person the most, as I have my Bachelor's degree in political science and most of the classes I want to teach as a social studies teacher are government classes. Second, I have a lot of sentimental value with this guild. This was the first guild that I ever played at my first pre-release back during the RTR block as well as it was my first official MTG event. I remember during that pre-release I had an amazing box as I managed to pull Jace, Architect of Thought and Isperia, Supreme Judge. I made it pretty far in the tournament with that deck too.

my favorite guild is rakdos. in this set i think the rakdos cards are very creative with cards like drill bit and captive audience. i also like the art of rakdos. the orange glow really brings out the horror of the rakdos cards.

making a commander dino deck is one of my current goals... and despite my favorite guild being rakdos or golgari my main decks revolve around orzhov witch i love just for the many ways to play it, life gain, vampires, control, and just other ways to be a burden to deal with

My favorite Guild would be Rakdos, mainly because of the different things you could do with those two colors, like you could get lower mana creatures like goblins and sacrifice them to higher costing creatures for more benefits, and has great synergy with other colors for more opotunities to either deal more damage or cause alot more removal than you could previously.

Favourite guild? Rakdos. I've played esper colours for months now, since I started last year. I got bored of simple control and camping behind my walls, now with rakdos, I've come to see how a good creature base can overcome even the greatest defences. And now since I'm starting to feel good with red, in addition to my original blue/white/black, I'm just expecting that one thing which makes me interested in green so much that I can forgive those merfolks.

my favorite guild has always been Selesnya Conclave because that is the colors i play the most. when it comes to the themes that exist. For years elf/life gaint rample has been my main focus theme. I even love Saprolings so that just goes more into white/green. No one seems to play squirrels anymore... where are my squirrels.

These surprisingly seem well worth it. Growth chamber guardian is a very nice pull, being a staple in all green decks for the rest of Guilds standard. Im sure the simic packs will be the hardest to find.

I love simic. Its fun to play and theres so much synergy. Biomancers familiar brings down the adapt cost, theres simic ascendancy that can add plus 1 counters and an alternate win condition. Theres the cool ooze thats creates ooze and pumps ooze. Frilled mystics for counter spell. Theres the crazy jellyfish hydra beast. I love the possibilities in simic. I would buy the simic theme boosters just to help me get simic cards and i love opening packs.

I have always preferred Gruul, since it was the one guild that I started MTG with and it combines the trampling creatures from green /the mana ramp AND the burn damage/haste from red... it can be big and dumb, but also small and pretty fast... Riot mechanic enables a lot of variety in Gruul builds... i still need a fourth Gruul spellbreaker for my deck...

I don't have all the cards I would like to have yet on arena (honestly have a better version of this deck in real life then I do on arena) but here is my exported deck list from Arena for my wall deck. Similar to the one I saw you play, except I added tap down / tapped removal to the deck. Ideally more Verity circles would be nice to give you draw for all the tap downs, but i've only got 1 on arena at the moment. and don't mind the lands too much, i dont have all of them either lol. I'd LOVE a Gruul deck! Ramp to big green creatures or Gruul creatures with Hexproof, Trample And (Or) Doublestrike! I picked up a Rakdos themed pack to find if it was worth price. For a rare & mythic (Showstopper & Rix Maadi). Thinking it was worth it, picked up 8 more theme packs, only 1 rare in each of those. Not worth it, unless u need the uncommon/common themed cards for a deck.

I'm still new to the game, and definitely enjoy these videos. I did buy a Selesnya pack and thought as a new player it was decent to get started, but as you mentioned, had to go out and get lands to play. I think from what I've watched, my favorite guild is a combo of orzhov and azorius. I like a few cards from each guild though. Also, after seeing the card Sharktocrab....I fully expect sci fi network to make that into its next creature feature.

Picked up a Rakdos. Bedevil 12 uncommon 22 common I think these would be good for casual grab a couple and build a deck, or adding to a guild kit.

I tested 10 Izzet boosters last time and all of them where different... Not the same amount of uncommons, only one rare or mythic, no foils, and could be either izzet, boros, or dimir... I think I got 2 mythics and 8 rares, they are similar to what's included in the pre release kits, but without the promo card format for the rare slot.
