Shalai remind you of the existence of the keywords 'you and permanents you control have hexproof'? Just imagine how much of privileged position it would be if the other part of this was in Arena. It almost be a Font of Blessings from Siugurda herself and such a Simically Charming thing to have. Also puns and veiled references aside imagine we had the deck that would make the Timmy players unbearable from actual modern: Monogreen Hexproof Stomp. I know it made me rage quit the one time I was playing a Dimir deck. TuT I just wanted to be the bad guy for once ya know?

Brewer's Kitchen is honestly my most favorite of Magic content I've watched. The pace of the videos are always perfect. Cards are explained quickly, but well. The variety of decks is exquisite. The video isn't drawn out by repetitive games of resolving the same combo too many times. Your voice is very fun to listen to, sorta like a spokesperson you'd see on TV. The simple pngtuber energy of your avatar also helps in maintaining the lighthearted, silly energy. Sometimes when I am having a bad day, I'll see one of these videos, and I just can't help but watch 10 more even after rewatching something I've seen 5 times already. My only complaint is that I can't watch more. But, I'd rather have these videos at the pace we have them now than to ever see the quality drop. So yeah... Thanks for making cool content c:

yea ! another youtuber I used to really like changed his pace to be much faster and it just didn't feel right, but he does the swiftness well

Stifling a fetch on turn one will never stop being sexy. He telegraphed it and everything. You didn't even have a turn one play.
@SireBab7 ай бұрын
You're right, always scoop after turn 1 blue mana
@wormspeaker7 ай бұрын
@SireBab Nah, just force them to hold up the mana if you don't have a play. Then when you do have a play if they haven't tapped out you got to go for it. But if you force them to waste time holding up a stifle that's better than getting stifled on turn 1 even though you didn't have a turn 1 play.
@Sauvenil7 ай бұрын
Stifle is such a good card even if your opponents don't play any fetches. Remember, folks, Stifle works on the Storm trigger too. A poor Tendrils of Agony player scooped when I Stifled the trigger... he didn't enough enough gas left in the deck to combo again.
@brakalanga76676 ай бұрын
Stifle was already insane in Historic when used proactively, to counter Lotus Fields triggers, "you lose the game" triggers, Pact of Negation triggers, Song of Creation "discard your hand" triggers etc. Ridiculously powerful card. In timeless it's straight up BROKEN, and yet almost nobody uses it.

The only format I don't mind this thieving blue card in because there are lots of ways to respond to it and more broken stuff to boot. Very fun idea and I'm glad it's confined to this dark plane where all hope goes to beg for another chance only to be laughed at by a mouth formed from MTG's most inexplicable strategies.

Thought exactly this. I imagine the reason to go for the longer win is "for content", but yeah, for pure winspeed% keeping a new token each time is the winning line.

fun fact on arena, if you doppelgang an aura and you create more auras than creatures were on the battlefield, you can't assign the auras because clicking a creature a 2nd time will unselect it as a target instead of assigning a 2nd aura. I ended up timing out with 7 auras on the left most creatures.

I created a land creature Battle of Wits deck that uses all five colors and 0 basic lands. It has nothing but cards that can cascade into Battle of Wits and land creatures as well as a tiny handful of other things that keep the wheels greased. It's the dumbest combo deck ever, but if you aren't dead by ~turn 6, you're basically guaranteed to win.

Edit: made this comment before watching the video. Did they update how Arena handles Doppelgang since its release? It's crazy how smooth that x=4 was in the first game despite all the triggers. Love Doppelgang. Have given up playing it on Arena. Too many games where I should have won given the position Doppelgang would put me in, that have ended in a draw or loss due to Arena not being able to handle all the triggers. It's a real shame; it's the most fun card they've printed in a while, but when it even struggles to sometimes handle x=3 and basically always craps itself at x=4, it's not worth the headaches.

In the last game they only had 4 permanents left before you would've done the next Doppelgang. Obviously you could go for a higher x, but if you just do X=4 you're not going to mill out from that. But yeah, of course it makes more sense just to copy Omanth and lands.
