MTGirl: Hero Realms Character Packs and Promos

Would you mind taking pictures of the Promo Cards? I want to print them so I can play with them but there are no good images online (even on hero realms page the resolution is quite bad). I understand it's a lot to ask since you'd have to snap like 70 shots.

The clerics with maces thing goes back to early editions of D&D, in which clerics were prohibited from shedding blood. So to defend themselves, they took up blunt weapons. As anybody with a bit of common sense will tell you, even a hit with a blunt item can break the skin, but they at least adhered to the spirit of their decrees. And with D&D 3rd edition onwards, that's moot anyway. Sacrifice a feat, hooray cleric with greatsword. :)

At 32:34, I don't understand the "Droga, Guild Enforcer" card. The second option says "Stun target champion that's been damaged this turn." But champions are never *partially* damaged (and not completely stunned), are they? For example, if you have a champion with defense 4, you can't apply 3 damage to it. ...Or can you? Is that the point of this card? - If you have some damage, but not enough to stun a champion, then you can use Droga to make up the rest, no matter how much "the rest" is?

I guess you can assign damage that doesn't fully stun ("kill") a champion. It would normally be wasted, but not with Droga. Let's say there's a champion with 100 defense. Seems unbeatable, but Droga allows you to stun it after dealing a single damage to it.

They actually fixed this in the digital version of the game. Now Droga reads, "Spend 1 combat to stun target champion."

Do all of the cards in the base game, the hero packs, and the promo pack all fit inside the box included with the game?

Not even remotely. This is pretty par for the course with White Wizard. They do offer a long card box with a promo card, dividers, and sleeves through Legion that should hold everything currently available and more. So, there is that option, though it costs about as much as the base game. What I like about this model is that you only pay for what you want. What I don't like is that I always want everything anyway ;)

How do you get the 'Promo Pack'? Didn't see it when I ordered the game and hero packs.

+Fighterfan69 Kickstarter backers were able to pledge at a level to get them. As with Star Realms, I expect them to be available as tournament prizes and eventually available as alternate art in a retail pack in another year or so.

I thought so too. The graphic is the same as on the cat card. What did you see that made you change your mind, out of curiosity? Because to me it still looks like you should gain health
