Just a random anecdote: When I first started watching your channel (years ago) my wife miss-heard your voice while saying MTG Muddstah, and interpreted it as MTV Buttstuff. I like that Fires of Invention saw play in this match and had such an impact. It just does such a wonderful job at keeping mana available for ability activations while allowing you to advance your board state

Pretty sure martin is supposed to get the copied ability from the illusionist's bracers since the equipment is still his, and the equipment creates the second ability.

That red deck is super sweet. Love the interaction with Defector allowing both players to draw 2 cards. Which was a misplay during the game. Lol. But good game otherwise. I was wondering who my red general would be and it might be this one lol.

I think it was the lack of artifact hate, more than anything else, that allowed the deck to go off like that. Personally, I don't like the idea of relying so much on keeping my equipment on the field... I think Bosh was the "red" commander I liked seeing the most in this channel.

You missed a trigger from Minds Dilation when Ben cast Price of Fame on Kumono, it triggers on every opponents FIRST spell casts on any turn

This game is the perfect example of why I never play without green... you can never have too much enchantment/artifact hate. That being said, Kumano with deathtouch is a really mean synergy and I hate it and love it at the same time.

Hey, Ben!! Looking at the list the Syr Konrad deck is missing some amazing pieces in Tombstone Stairwell, Infernal Genesis, Mesmeric Orb and Rise of the Dark Realms. Tombstone Stairwell in particular would be SO SO strong with Syr Konrad, can literally end the game in a round of the table with a decent number of creatures in the graveyard because it triggers for everyone, on everyone's turn. Add in a Blood Artist or similar and hoooooly hell. And thats before you even get to Grave Pact, Black Market, Bloodchief Ascension and the rest. Love the deck but you're missing out on some serious power, and Tombstone Stairwell is SUPER cheap if i remember rightly.

I had the misfortune of sitting at the same table as a Hokori player... it's as disgusting as it looks. Games are also extremely boring too because, unlike most Stax strategies, monowhite does lack ways of untapping multiple lands, so even the Hokori player gets locked down (and the guy is a douchebag who is perfectly fine with it).

Something I was surprised is so easy to build is eggs. Just jam in artifacts that just need 1-2 maaaaaybe 3 mana to draw you a card and do some random utility thing and you're in business. There are SO many commanders that can take advantage of it; Kykar Winds Fury, Korvold Fae Cursed King, Jhoira Weatherlight Captain, Yarok the Desecrated, Niv-Mizzet Parun, Gerrard Weatherlight Hero, Elsha of The Infinite, Raff Capashen Ship's Mage, Teshar Ancestor's Apostle, etc. and they cost a few cents a piece.

Heartstone reduces Kumano's activation cost to a single red mana. Illusionist's Bracers copies the activation, essentially doubling the damage per activation. The enchantment doubles damage. This allowed Kumano to deal 4 damage to any target for each available source of red mana his controller had, while also exiling any creature he destroyed.

The Kumano and Nezahal starting hands look best, but beating Titania+Library ain't easy. The Syr Konrad deck starts out worst. After the game, I'm not surprised that Syr Konrad didn't win, but I also didn't expect the Kumano deck to take off as hard as it did.
