Definitely a beautiful set as many have already said. The colors really pop and MTH nailed the paint scheme. It's incredible to think this was a real passenger train from the glory days of railroading. Thanks for another great video!

I do have interest in a Hiawatha, I use Lionel ZW-L and a 990 remote. Think I may have a problem to run. Waiting to seeMTH NEW TIU. If he wanted less might put something toward TIU.

That is a great set, really nice detail. I like the way the box cars match the passenger cars. I order the lionel one from the catalog, hope lionel gets the colors right on their version. BTW like the new camera angles you used in this video.

That is one beautiful set. The Sky Top Observation is exceptional and is my absolute favorite passenger car. The Milwaukee Road, along with the Pennsy, ran my favorite passenger trains. My dad, born and raised in Wisconsin, rode the original Hiawatha's and always talked about how smooth they were at 100 mph. Otto Kuhler, who designed the streamlining for the locomotives and cars, purposely left the drive train exposed to convey motion and action. An excellent video, as always.

The F7s had both whistles and horns. They were positioned next to each other behind the grille above the headlight.

That is a pretty set. On a sad note. Not one real Hiawatha was ever preserved for static display. Hard to believe considering how popular they were. I’m over my train budget for the year as well. I’m curious. What is the minimum curve on this set? The passenger cars might need a larger curve than the locomotive. Ken
