Great video for someone who has never done an upgrade but is planning to. Iron Horse Trains, I've been there once, cool.

Thanks for watching! They are fairly simple, just make sure everything is insulated from the frame. I also recommend to take your time.

Thanks so much! These kits take some time, but are worth the wait and price for the board kits

Nice video. Just a suggestion for the future, if a PS2 board dies, replace it with a PS32 stacker board.

Totally understand that, I think that’s what someone had in there and fried. Works great along with its upgraded A unit

I noticed the second A Unit smoking as well. Does this have a PS3 upgrade as well?
@NixCrossing17 күн бұрын
Yes it does, I did that so I have 2 separate engines that I can put in lash mode

Hey Nick, I love that western maryland diesel. Also, I just took my brass weaver sd40-2 chessie system to the hobby shop to get tmcc board out for a proto sound 3.0 diesel kit

Thanks for watching! I love these proto 3 boards. The diesel kits are so much easier to do than the steams

@NixCrossing are the proto sound 3 kits better now

Very nice. Certainly, a big difference working on such small stuff compared to giant track equipment. My one question, though, is there any way to turn off the interior lights? It would be more realistic to have them on at start-up and then go off when the train starts moving. It would probably be easier, too, to have clips to slide over the tabs on the speaker, so it would be less of a process to replace the speaker if it goes bad. Either way, as a someone who operates conventional, I am amazed and impressed on how much goes on in a small space and how you can put together this mass of wires. A far cry from my 2343 F3's. Great video as always.

Hey thanks for watching ! Yes there’s a way to turn off the lights with the remote/ DCS Application. I was amazed on how much stuff goes into These as well
