Hi dr, do you need to be a specialist first (in your own country) before applying for this scheme?

Ideally you must have a post graduation to get these posts.

Hello, what's your long-term goal. Settle in India or UK ?
@aisb06 Жыл бұрын
@@UKDreamers I wanna settle in UK
@UKDreamers Жыл бұрын
@medicalm2924 please finish your frcpath exams then. Mti won't help in long run, the time on tier 5 visa is not counted towards getting citizenship. So it becomes long, plus less choices.

Hi. Thanks for the wonderful video. I've a question please; Can we ask recruiter for MTI post while submitting the NHS job application (I mean somewhere in 'supporting information' section) and request them to consider us for MTI scheme? Is it OK to do so or asking for MTI program would be best at the time of 'interview'? TIA
@UKDreamers3 жыл бұрын
Hello Dr Syeda, Actually yes, because if u r looking to get MTI post via trust, u need to have a job offer from the trust so you can apply to that Royal college for CoS, that would sponsor your GMC Registration. So when the job says u need GMC Registration, you may clearly say that you would apply via MTI or say awaiting GMC (through sponsorship). Hope this helps.

Dear sir, Thanks a lot for your effort. Could I ask you, if I have Master degree in microbiology from Egypt, 5 years experience after master, and 5 before master as well. Am I elligible for applying MTI or I should have plab or FRCP?

Dear sir, I've got an MTI post in November 2021, submitted my MTI application n documents on 11 Feb 2022 (delay of 3 months post-interview due to collecting all documents). Currently, my application is with RCPath under process (even no payment link yet), hence my application is probably on initial stage with College. Actually, yesterday I've got an email from my Trust HR, saying that '31st July 2022' is the DEADLINE for me to join the post. Since then I'm very very much distressed and fearful of losing the opportunity. Still whole process of RCpath application assessment, GMC, Academy, n Visa left to be done. Sir kindly guide me how to sort out with this deadline thing given by the Trust. Would be grateful if you could suggest me on how to convince my Trust to extend their deadline (if this deadline is really important and final). Thank you 🙏🏻

Hello Syeda, please email RCPath showing your concern. Even if u get it CoS for GMC by this month end. U should be able to sort everything & be jere by July end.

Can we apply with MBBS and mrcp 1 for hematology MTI? Is MD degree compulsory?
@UKDreamers2 жыл бұрын
Qualifications and experience of the applicant You must fulfil all of the following criteria: You must hold a primary medical qualification recognised by the GMC and verified by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) You need to have a postgraduate qualification (MRCP (UK) part 1, MD or other higher degree in medicine or a medical subspecialty. You must have 3 years of post-qualification experience (including 1 year’s internship and at least 1 year in the specialty in which you intend to train whilst in the UK). You must have been in clinical practice for 3 out of the last 5 years including the 12 months prior to GMC registration having being granted. There should be no gaps in employment. Please note that the GMC does not consider clinical observerships as clinical practice. It is important that you remain in clinical practice throughout the application process. You must possess the skills, competencies and understanding of medicine at least equivalent to a UK graduate at the end of their CMT.
