ECOWAS is great but if there isn't a Ghana-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce to plan on how to develop and exploit business opportunities in the sub-region, then that must start soon. Too much attention is given to politics instead of business. The human resources between the two countries are enormous. Thanks Toyin and Tom for your love of Ghana.

Ghana's flag's red/gold/green as the first n only African country to gain self rule, Ethiopia accepted later, the color then accepted by the rest; Togo,Benin for (Africa Union,)...etc who gain self rule after the 60s. Why Green/White(Arab Color) for this very Nigeria who is paying the price(Internal Disunity) for rejecting Dr Nkrumah's Agenda of Africa Unity? HISTORY IS A CLEAR VERDICT!!!
@markntiri8251

@Nii Amatey Ghana and the majority of the rest of Africa rather copied the pan African Red Yellow Green colours from Ethiopia. Ethiopia was never colonized in the true sense of the word aside the Italy invasion between 1936-1941, so was an inspiration to the newly independent African countries. It's also a reason why the African Union is sited there

I hear you Nii. But Nigeria suffers from serious existential/historical problems. There's a serious islamization agenda on going , there're calls for separate independent countries for Arewa republic (for the Northerners), Biafra republic for the Igbos, Oduduwa republic for the Yorubas etc, and there're "freedom fighters" championing these causes. All these problems coupled with the greed, corruption, oil money, overpopulation etc presents serious problem for Nigeria. So there're genuine reasons for Nigeria's problems

@@markntiri8251 Mark and Nii Amartey, The youth needs to be educated about the meaning of Nkrumah's speech " the independence of Ghana is meaningless until it is linked with the total liberation of Africa". We are one people. Yes, each geographic/political area must work hard to improve conditions in their area. However, if one area is behind, we are all behind. We are on one team in the global relay. Stop the comparisons. Ghana has historically tried to run the first leg but we need everyone on the team. There is so much we can learn from each other.

Very nice interview, Also Ghana is well developed. I toured Ghana in 2002, 2007,2011 ,& 2014..Every time i witnesses good development. Government in Ghana is good & also Ghana people are good. Indeed ,Ghana is good example africa should follow. If this progressive era continues ( surely, it will) , investments, industries, prosperity will walk in automatically. I liked Ghana & Ghanians. Blessed nation.

The funny thing is that those times she didn't want to come was actually the best time to have invested in Ghana. When most of my dad's friends decided to move from Ghana to overseas in the mid 80's, my dad decided to stay and ended up making more money than his friends who moved from Ghana. Black folks need to learn how to identify opportunities instead of waiting for non-blacks to come and takeover.

Mechanics all over the world treat women like we don’t know much about cars. I always bring my brother or a man with me to buy a car in the UK or when I go to the garage. I think it would be advantageous to learn the language of living in Ghana and I can see that a British accent, especially like this woman’s accent which is quite posh, people may make some assumptions.

@Henry Ortiz I was born in Ghana and left at the age of 21 to Europe and being visiting. Yes, there are challenges and these challenges are opportunities for entrepreneurs to explore. Yes, customer service is an issue in some places. I have experienced good customer service and not so good customer service. I spent 20 years in Germany and 14 years in the UK. I've seen educated people with no knowledge about customer service in both countries. Customer service is a learnable skill that can be taught. Maybe you can set up a customer service training business.

So here we have 2 people who were educated and made their money outside of Ghana .probably the most telling comment from this lady was I haven’t had a car for a while and I have to take a taxi ,well my dear try taking a trotro at the roundabout go to a Dawhenya and talk to a 22 year old living in a rented property with a kitchen she shares with 10 other people and of coarse no running water.

What is your point? So she should not live a good quality of life in Ghana because others are suffering? Why are you enjoying the beach in your profile picture? While there are others in that same country suffering? I don't understand people like you

@@evieeve7066 Read the title of the video “ There,s money here and enough for everyone “my point is there is money for the few and the vast majority are poor . Ghana could be so much better if it weren’t for the vested interest of politicians and their rich friends and that is what really frustrates me.
@caracas787

@@evieeve7066 Well thank you for your views.Firstly my comment was not as you put it “ An outburst” it was a comment on the other reality of what Ghana is and from my observations in my time spent in Ghana so I find your comment disrespectful to say the least.Admit that Ghana has huge problems when it comes to poverty because if you don,t nothing will change as someone used to say to me “what is the problem what caused it and what do we need to do fix it.” Ghana gained independence in 1957 not because the British were being kind but because they could no longer maintain their colonies because they had to repay the world’s largest arms dealer the USA after the 2nd world war.At independence Ghana was the largest exporter of Cocoa in the world due to bad luck or bad management they are now the 2nd or 3rd.Look at the fabric industry it used to be owned and made in Ghana today the cheaper fabrics are made in China and the more expensive in the EU. So to finish firstly The Ghanaian government has to admit that there is a huge disparity between the “have’s and the have nots” then have people in government who will take action not just talk about the problems.At least when I return to Ghana in November the potholes on the Tema motorway will be fixed as they say “live in hope die in despair”.

The title, "There's Money Here & Enough For Everyone:..." was click bait. I've been to Ghana. Yes, the average person is nice and friendly, but my experience disabused me of the idea of ever living in Ghana. Visit, yes. Live, no. Retirement place for some people, maybe. If you don't know anyone--good luck. If you need to make money to live there then you are going to need a lot of luck--not worth the effort.
