I always enjoy seeing excellent technique. Was also very nice to see and hear the words spoken properly along with each strike. Absolutely top notch video.

I like that these moves can be lethal and used for practice and at the same time contolled and be used for sparring , kata . Its like the softness of water but after time destroys anything under waters weight. Meanin a person takes afew hits only to destroy spirit and crush enemys bodys and limbs. I like it. I was searching for another old muay fighting but not boran. Its more selfdefense movements than attacks. Its got defense and attack at same time. Like dodge a punch and deliver hook, or move away after kicking. Good stuff.

Great video! I've seen that you learned Chaiya from Kru Lek. What other styles of Muay Boran have you learned? Is the stance and hands positioning you are using in this video a mix of some Boran styles? I'm really interested about other Boran styles principles, but the one i can find good dedicated content in the internet is Muay Chaiya (from baanchangthai channel and some other channels of Masters that learned from Kru Lek). Unfortunately i don't have any source of information in my country about muay boran styles separately, so internet is my tool. I've been fighting muay thai daily for about 5 years, but it's been a year since i started to study and use Chaiya principles (including the stance) in sparring, and it has been working really well. Thanks for the content anyway!!!

There is one prime martial arts form oldest in existence. “Varma Kalai” please have a look into it. If you wish to explore. Can be used to harm and also heal
@arunsatheesan37853 жыл бұрын
Please.. Those are outdated and will not work against any mediocre fighter. I am talking about strikers. For grapplers it will be much easier. Varmakala marmakala kalaripayattu..it's all useless when it comes to hand to hand combat.

Muay Boran is Older and is a Base style for Muay Thai. Muay Thai is more of a Competitive Sport oriented version of the system.
@LLOOYYYDD2 жыл бұрын
@@pumkinmuscles1104 and Muay Boran was designed for attack for Thai Soldiers in the early 20th century. Some of the moves they dont use in Muay Thai anymore eg. Back of the hand strike 'Mud Wieng'
