Muay Boran Basics: Solo Forms

Martial Dances or Forms represent a sophisticated system of traditional pre-arranged shadow boxing.
Muay Boran Forms are series of offensive (Mai Rook) and defensive (Mai Rab) maneuvers logically connected. They are meant to record the lessons learned from real fighting and pass this knowledge to future generations of martial artists.
Each Form focuses on specific combat strategies and fighting skills.
The Muay Boran Form shown here is a basic sequence of attacks and defences focused on short range fighting. This series of Mai Muay is used by expert practitioners to train advanced elbow techniques such as:
Combinations of elbows and knees
Combinations of elbows and punches
The correct training procedure for Muay Boran Forms is as follows.
Step 1: rehearse the whole sequence as many times as possible
Step 2: work each technique separately
Step 3: explore the various martial applications of each technique with a partner

Bullying/abusive attitude is what I experienced from this organisation in Rome. I spent a lot of money travelling from London to Rome to take their session but the main "maestro" and his assistant (a female) were just abusive. The appealing video sure to attract customers, but it's money that drives them. They charge you a lot for group exams when those should be individual exams.This message is supported by evidence.

I believe you, because there's no reason to make up such a story, hope your search for good teachers works out better, it's funny the Chinese have a saying that it takes 3 years for a student to find a good master, and 3 years for a master to find a good student, so it takes 6 years!, seems kind of funny but that's what they say, peace

I know the main master since my youth: his female assistant is an evil, ugly person and very incompetent. She takes out her frustration on honest members. This evil shouted and bullied me many times,knowing she was protected by the head master. This assistant took my money and was abusive. Then she made me removed from their course. This is RETALIATION. PEOPLE MUST KNOW. I left them a review in Google map- Flaminia 7 gym Rome. I don't make up nothing: I have all the evidence in my emails and whatsApp messages.

El estudio y práctica de las formas marciales es de gran importancia para los practicantes que queremos llegar al profundo entendimiento del arte. La forma vista en este video es una forma avanzada que requiere de un conocimiento previo del uso básico de las armas y de movimiento de pies para defender y contraatacar a distancia corta, distancia que es característica del combate real y que a diferencia de lo que se podría pensar, es una distancia muy ventajosa en la que nosotras las mujeres podemos actuar y defender de manera correcta, siempre y cuando tengamos claro el conocimiento.
