I give links for both Amazon and for Hisea.com so you have some options, but if you buy from Hisea's website, you can use code HSWORK15 for 15% off your purchase. (It looks like they're offering a promo for free shipping right now, too. 2/19/22). www.hisea.com/men-s-mid-calf-work-boots.html

Hisea are cheap but dependable and high quality most of the food processing industry use them

Hi Glen - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. I normally buy work boots and muck boots on price but they all must have steel toe caps as I know the pain of having a split log dropping on my toes. I have good quality insoles that I use to keep my feet warm and can move from boot up boot.

Thanks for this comparison! I literally laughed out loud at the “don’t test that” comment because I was thinking of that before you said it!!!

Thanks, Daniel! Haha, you never know what people are going to try.

I really like dryshod USA boots, they're made by the guy that sold the muck boot company. I get the steal toes ones with the tight tops to keep the saw dust out

Thanks for the suggestions. It's good to have options.

It's two years later. Which was more durable and lasted longer?

Honestly, I reach for my Hisea way more often.

I'd like to see how they hold up over some extended us in adverse conditions. I'm a big fan of muck boots but I have found they don't seem to last me more than a year before they are either cracking or the liner in the heel is wearing through. I am pretty hard on them though. I know there are more durable rubber boots out here for farming type applications but none that are as comfortable as muck boots for actually going for a walk in. Dave in SW Ontario, Canada

I'm curious to see that, too. Maybe I'll post an update after I've worn them a good while.

I would recommend getting yourself a pair of Dunlop Thermo boots. They're much better than either of these featured in the video - they're more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Once you've had Dunlops you'll never look for any other kind of rubber work boots.
@oakrunacres25642 жыл бұрын
@@mountainviewcattle Thanks. I'll definitely check them out. I know a lot of guys in my area wear them or Cofras. I always thought they look clunky and hard to walk in but that's probably not the case. I've never even tried a pair on. Dave

@@oakrunacres2564 You won't regret it. You can wear them all day and I've walked miles in them without any issues. I always wear my pants over top of the boots to prevent stuff from getting in them and i find them more comfortable that way too. Would never wear another rubber boot except Dunlops. Let me know how you get on with them when you try them.

I had a pair of muck boots and they fell apart after 2 months. Luckily the store gave me half my money back for a different pair of another brand.

Im looking for a warm comfortable waterproof MID ANKLE boot (not too low) for my 12 hour days outside at work in ankle highmud snow ice and water. Ideally it would feel like a high running shoe but perform like an insulated waterproof boot. My toes get cold I walk on all kinds of terrain and I climb steel laddars extremely high. So snug fit is best. Any ideas? Or anything in that direction. Believe me anything is better than what im currently wearing I promise.

But how did they feel on your feet.? Comfortable? Secure?
@OldSchoolMillennial2 жыл бұрын
I have been using these for a while now and they seem just as comfortable as Muck boots. The muck boots do slip on the feet easier, without having to bend down, but for the price, I think they're a good value. Hope that helps.

I have the muck boots and love them, I have the steel toe version.

Muck’s are worth the price but I don’t recommend the arctic sport ones they are warm but not as durable I have had good luck with the chore and woody grit variety

Dunlop Thermo boots are way better than either of these options. I would be interested to see you do a review on a pair. They are massively popular here in Western Canada.

Muck boot's prices have gotten out of hand the last few years and the durability has gone down. I wear DryShods and they seem to hold up much better. Dick's is one of the few local places that carry Muck's and refuse to give them any money since they turned woke.
