The body of my Arrma granite 4x4 550 mega doesn't really keep snow out of it as good but if I had a different body I probably wouldn't see a thing in my car

BarharborBasher I agree. Arrma is definitely doing their homework. Great beginner tough build, size and speed. Speed seems like will be outgrown quickly.. If I see this upgraded to BL & Lipo for more speed might pick one up just to have a rig this scale.

Just purchased one of these an I had a problem at first figuring out the Remote buttons.. I already have two Rustlers car so I wanted something bigger an stronger an replaced the battery with a 3000 watt instead of the 2400

I got mine at hobby town. Got the 550 mega with my saved money, and you know this honestly is kinda better then the Traxxas slash and I know I'ma 10 yo who has an rc hobby that me and my friend share (me and my friend both love rc) And I don't always have all the money to buy all of the cars but it's just my opinion. But to add mine came with a different controller did they change it or is there a difference In between 550 mega and mega?... What ever I'm wasting time but thanks for the review

My local hobby shop has one of these for 175$ I'm getting it before someone else does lol, I'll bash it for a bit and then throw my 2200 kv brushless motor in it I just have to go get a hobbywing ESC to throw in it as well since they are my favorite ESC maker.

Good advice, but I opted for the brushless model as a rookie. It was only a $50 more and I knew I would have buyer's remorse if I didn't. I did a little research before I made my decision too. Hehe.

Do some checks. Rotate the wheels to see if it’s the single wheel or tire also check the hexes.

All the gears are metal? Are you sure about that? The main gear is composite, i.e. plastic.

Matthew Brownell reverse is normal. The first time you push the trigger forward after accelerating, it is used as a brake. Once truck is at a full stop, push forward trigger again, and that is used as reverse.

Biggest problem with Arrma is you can't always get parts for them, I've been looking for a new spur gear for this truck for over a month now and best I can find is backorder til early august, so on the shelf it sits with a sad 9yr old waiting for parts

I can recommend you the Granite. Several youtubers got very a good very good driving and durabilty experience aaaand it is state of the art electronics wise and not 6 years old.It is also easy to work on if you need to ajust something or wanna upgrade some parts. I *cant* recommend you the Stampede. It has well know breakage points like the C-hubs, the shock absorber caps and the shock springs it self are not chosen very well for the car.

I got one after Christmas only thing I can complain about whether is the steering gears stripped out but that is the reason why it is a hobby assume in my side the vision I have not curves but little hops was the road and grass meets I broke two pairs of sharks that is probably my driving other than that no complaints at all other then maybe aftermarket parts for better shocks I can not seem to find all Alumina Maybe not. A Knouff research anyways it’s really not a complaint thank you for the video .
