Great work on getting Emily back up and running, I like the brass fitting on the drill press with the file. Budget lathe, definitely been there and done that! Thanks for all the updates and looks like y’all had a blast at the river!

Funny you should mention it, we did a few things to it last month, but I wasn't sure if I would do an update. Since you asked, I will try to do a short update. Thanks for watching and you must have been around for a while... (mostly paint, new flooring, threshold, and wall hangings....)

You should do an experiment where you swap a fnr transaxle for a 6 speed instead (engine pulley flipped of course), I'm curious how fast and how slow you'd be able to go. I want to do this to my own mower but I have yet to find a transaxle.
@chud3278 ай бұрын
If you swap to a manual transmission, it should be like any of my other mowers. Good luck and good idea for my other Troy bilt. Thanks for watching!!

When pully swaping a Hydroesthetic do i use a small pully for the rear ora big one?
@chud3278 ай бұрын
Smaller in the back makes mowers faster, however, hydros usually come with a small back pulley. You can try making the front bigger, but I wouldn't go too extreme. I just did this one and it will not go over 8MPH probably due to internal bubbles or or internal regulations... Will get the video out soon so you can see what all I did... thanks for watching.

Have you tried putting mud tires on a mower and still mowing..im having an issue with a field of mine that gets wet...my turf tires just get me stuck and id like to know if changing the tires will help or should a just buy a flail mower for my quad
@chud3278 ай бұрын
Flail mowers are expensive, I would try a set of ATV or tractor tires first. My first mud mower was used to cut all my grass, wet spots too, with just a nice set of ATV tires. There are videos of you want to check it out , was a big red gt5000 craftsman. Good luck and thanks for watching.
