Driven Hard Thanks Driven! The depth that day was 3 to 3.5 feet! There were plenty of off-roaders out there to help (just in case) and on the other side I saw some stock Jeep JKs that had driven through. So I went for it. What a blast!!

it usually wont effect the breathers too much if your moving through the water. when you stop though its over lol

Not even just that, the lack of true snorkels is what I’m concerned about. Replace the rack and pinion is a lot cheaper then a bent rod or spun bearings lol

Surprised more of your vehicles don't use snorkels, not just for water but to lift the intake higher to keep it clear of the dust, its why you see them being used in desert conditions, makes a huge difference to the life of the air filter.

Great video looks like a lot of fun. I am new to off roading/ overlanding. I DIDNT didnt see snorkels on any of the vehicles. What usually causes the vehicles to die in the high water. Is it more of an exhaust issue or is it more electrical issues

That and the air intake points straight up under the front right side of the hood. Gotta submerge the hood for more than a couple seconds before it will start sucking in water.
