Great video - as always! And you're most welcome to the Spongeware fragments! I'm currently collecting the second batch for you both. Seems there's a fair amount at this bottle tip! I even found a piece that seems to have a snowflake design, that I think could be great for a Christmas decoration of some kind! We'll mail that to you when there's more of it. Thanks for featuring the finds in your video and also for shouting out our channel - we really appreciate it! Willie, Sarah and Jack Spaniels. :)

Kate, how wonderful to be an official international mudlarker now! I saw a piece of ceramic on your Argentinian beach with H Daulton and Co on it, Doulton's were from London and famous for all sorts of plumbing ceramics like pipes, basins, bricks etc. As Argentina was dominated by the English in the early 1900's, it is why so much UK stuff is found in Argentina. Well done Fleur, some exciting prospects lined up for Kate. I loved the bathing sculpture at Southwold Pier, absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to next week as always. Welcome home Kate.

I suppose that "Mudlarking" in England, is what we Canadians call "Beachcombing". I enjoyed seeing both of the countries' "treasures" that you found on the beaches. I'd never seen an Agate before, and think they are very pretty. Where I live there are a lot of beaches, and I've found the odd piece of glass on the beach, but nothing as interesting as an old clay pipe. I guess it's because there weren't any to be found. I did find an arrow head, once, long ago, but that's about it. Most of the junk found on the beaches, nowadays is plastic garbage. That is very sad, because there is so much plastic in the Pacific, it makes me cry. I was pleased to hear that you were removing plastic from your beach, as it is very bad for the sea creatures! I've subscribed to your channel and hope to watch more of your delightful videos! Stay safe! ~Janet in Canada

The music is always suiting to the video. We can still hear the sounds of the surf and the birds, yet the music adds a note of sentimentality, if not melancholy. I prefer a bit more of a cheerful tune (plus, you, Fleur and Kate, are both so cheerful yourselves) but if I’m in the mood, I really enjoy the somber piano. Either way, beautiful film-making. I loved watching the wind sweep away the mermaids’ purses and sand and it’s always nice to know (thank you for putting it onscreen) where the mudlarks are- especially because I live wayyyy across the pond in the US (Wisconsin) and wouldn’t recognize where you are. It’s fun to learn about the beaches and dumpsites you lark in. Take care and God bless and keep you! 🥰❤️ PS, sweet of Willie and Sarah from Dirty Secrets of Scotland to send you the pretty sponge ware pieces they have. Such a supportive community all around! 👏👏👏🌸

Agates are a semi-precious stone that is realtively hard and can be shaped into hearts, animals, whatever you desire. But so there is less waste (from shattered agates) it is best to use either carbide or diamond cutting and shaping tools.

Glad your back Kate! You can see you were missed by your family! Both places have their own beauty, I am surprised Argentina reminds me of being in the high desert in California where I was a few years ago. Your banded agates are almost carnelian! In fact I think the center of one looks to be Carnelian. There is a fine line between agate, common opal, chert, Carnelian, all in the quartz family same minerals just arranged differently or as I say "cooked a bit longer" Beautiful stones. Wow beautiful spongeware! Gives a lot of craft ideas! Lovely video! You are Blessed!
