No, not for inside of a shoe but maybe a pattern for making soles of shoes, there were many patterns for making shoes.my mum had loads because she designed them in Italy and then in England/ Worcester. Then you put them on the last each pair had one, different sizes, and then stitch them up. Glue them to soles, love shoes, as most women do .and hand bags.

Finally here after a busy day and I think, just in time before the live 🙌 would love to see the outtakes of that Rugby ball landing over the fence 😂 On a more serious note, loved the mining story, I could listen to miners stories all day, straight from the horses mouth. Unfortunately, time is running out to hear them all. But when a story is told. It carries on for the next generation. Just like the story you heard when you was a boy from one of your other videos. Anyhow, before this turns into a book. The pot on its plimth looked amazing, knew it would. Well done 👍 by the way. Our next video, next Friday I think is the one where we give you guys a mention along with a link in the description. Least we can do for the amount of times you’ve mentioned us. Will never forget when we first started posting videos how you gave us a lovely mention like you did. Not many take the time to plug new Larkers the way you do. Anyhow I’m rambling again. I thought it was an old camera too, but yes. See it now. Vanity case 👍 looking forward to the live, will it be filmed from the garage to fix that car up? 😂 How did Caroline know which way the Z went up! 😮she’s a real pro, Take the Brick!! 😂 nice job cleaning that bottle in the wilds, mine don’t get that clean from home cleaning haha

Roll of it landing it took 2 takes 😄😂 You're so right about telling the stories of our past, it's the way to keep them alive... Thank you for giving us a mention in your next video, we really appreciate it. 'Z' what 'Z'? I worked in Taff,17yrs(underground)Not far from that bridge,is a bomb crater from ww2!Interesting fact-I found a mechanical device in the river not far from there. On inspection,it looked suspiciously like the internals of a bomb!I left it in a tree hoping to come back later with my mechanically minded friend! But it was gone!Someone had taken it!(I just subscribed!)Good hunting!😃👍

I was at Taff from 1977 to 1989 Mark. That crater sounds interesting, but as you learned, finds tend to disappear if you can't take them with you. Happy hunting and thanks for watching 🙂😎🐼

The Bells of Rhymney indeed. excellent history lesson , Phil. (i used to post as hunter peale, by the way.) i think your teapot is wonderful; i think spouts would make great legs as well! the scissors remind me, i live in Tijeras, New Mexico, tijeras means scissors in Spanish, which is spoken widely here. a local mountain pass is called Tijeras Canyon. the local county dump is near the canyon, and it is very well organized as regards what goes where. all winter long manure, mainly horse, accumulates in the Great Poop Pile, and come spring gardeners help themselves to good old horse crap fertilizer...i digress; i have found no less than 3 pairs of scissors in the 'scissors' canyon poo poo pile !

I love the work of Idris Davies, known as the Rhymney Poet, who wrote The Bells of Rhymney which Pete Seeger later turned into a powerful folk/protest song. One of his poems which I often use when I take a funeral service for an ex miner is called 'Work' and the last verse says, "Though blighted be the valleys Where man meets man with pain, The things by boyhood cherished Stand firm, and shall remain. Glad you liked the teapot, I think it looks good with the spouts as legs too 🙂😎🐼

@@LetsgowithTheJohnsons thanks for that. i love your videos, by the way, forgot to tell you that. i have memory issues, and i can't recall whether i have told you that New Mexico history is largely about mining; downtown albuquerque has streets named coal, lead, silver, copper, gold etc, and between albuquerque and Santa Fe is an odd little town, an enclave of artists called Madrid, (accent on the 'a') which sits on top of an old coal mine. some of the mean little shacks in which the miners lived are still standing; a friend of mine rented one once and she said in winter only 2 feet from the woodstove was warm, the rest of the tiny uninsulated one room shack was freezing. what a miserable existence. several of the little shacks remain. there is a mining museum in Madrid, and in front of it sits the railroad locomotive which served the mine, silent in the very spot where she was retired, firebox now cold. for all of its colorful artists, Madrid still has a flavor of bleakness and the poverty of the miners who lived and toiled there.

Happy Canada Day to everyone! :D We've been a confederation for 155 years. Just a baby, in terms of where you are, Phil and Caroline. :) Having your video to watch today was one of the highlights of my day. I love the completed tea pot. I can't decided which way I like it better, though. LOL I caught that sleight-of-hand with the editing of the rugby ball kick. ;) That's okay. Someone has to be a smarty pants, eh? rofl See you tomorrow on the live show. TTFN :)

A very happy Canada Day to you Noralee, the confederation has come a long way in 155 years! Great to hear that our video was a highlight of your celebration and that you liked the Teapot Art, and you're not alone when it comes to knowing which way up, looks best 🤔 😄 Caroline's passion for editing can make a lot of work for me on times, like on this occasion when standing in the middle of the river and kicking the ball over the high fence in 1 attempt wasn't enough for the 'Director' I then had to find the ball when we eventually got up on the pitch and throw it into shot to create the finished piece. The funny thing is I kicked it over in 1 take, but it took 2 attempts to throw it in front of the camera 😄😂 See you on the Live Show 🙂😎🐼

@@LetsgowithTheJohnsons Oh dear - I apologise for laughing. ;) Soon Caroline will be asking for a personalised director's chair and a megaphone through which to yell, "Action!" ROFL I just finished watching the live show, and heard you mention the debacle. LOL
