My granny lived through the Great Depression. They turned broken things into something new, and called it a "make-do.". A stuffed ball of velvet on top of your candlestick would be a beautiful hat pin holder or pin cushion! ❤️ from Kentucky

The joy you both find in your mud larking adventures is so contagious. I can’t tell you how many times I have sat watching your videos and find myself saying “wow” or “that’s beautiful”. Then to watch you turn what others consider trash into beautiful treasures is amazing. I also love your background music.🥰☺️ Thank you for sharing with us.🙏☺️

I dearly love that you take trash, even small broken glass pieces and make treasures with them. Astounding bead work. I worked as an Education coordinator for a major fabric and craft retailer in the USA for over 10 years. We had a teacher doing bead making, glass blowing in a store in California until the insurance folks found out. No fire safe place in the classroom. I am sure you have precautions in your home you can tell viewers about.

The swirl is universal and a perfect representation of everything being connected. From the snail to the galaxies, the swirl gives us a link to our ancestry all the way back to when the first cells of life on this planet came into existence.

Since you guys are so interested in glasswork I thought you might like to know that the Corning Museum of Glass here in the United States has a KZbin channel where they post demonstrations every week. I thought you guys might like it. They go into great detail explaining how they do the different techniques being demonstrated in the videos; and they have master glass blowers from all over the world that come and do guests demonstrations.

I had the same thought but like this: A piece of scrapwood for a base, glue a row of these spouts on it with E-6000 glue or the like, then small shards of porcelaine and pottery all around the base, and lastly a bit of grout for a beautiful mosaic Mudlark teatowel hanger! They’s also be lovely for a little garden mosaic fountain with water coming out the spouts.
