Everytime I see all those pieces of cool pottery on the beach, I think abt using little tile clip cutters to make doll house pretty flooring, walkways or roofs.

I love the history that comes from Sherd Stories. Amber glass protects light sensitive materials - you often see it in laboratories for that reason. Same reason it's used in beer bottles - to protect the beer from going skunky. Lovely flowers at the end - it's nice to see that many wildflowers blossoming in one place.

I saw something today in a shop made me think of you all. Then watched your video and when you found one I just had to tell you all. The spoon handle bit you found, I saw a really cute up cycle. Hair clips were glued to the bottom and they were adorable. Just thought you could make some with all the unique pieces you find . The patina on the one you found in this video was so pretty.

Some amazing finds!! Your Sherd story was particularly interesting to me. I used to work at St Thomas’ Hospital and the building in picture at 28:36 still stands on the south bank behind the new main North Wing and the picture actually shows my office n the middle section which faced the River Thames and the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster). I loved hearing the history, thank you so much for doing that research! 👍🏼

what a fantastic lark-yummy finds just kept coming up. so hard to pick a fav, but the tiny pot has to be the best. shard story very interesting-love these segments. beautiful footage of woodland blooms-i have the same blue bulbs in masses lining my front gardens beds. u 2 are the best (& your videos were my 1st intro to mudlarking. i have to thank u for that as it's opened up a new world to me & i've learned so much from u, nick, si finds, no. mudlarks, etc)

Did you also notice in the first pic of the sea with the rock and broken pottery, at the base of the rock there is a coin or appears to be so as it is round with embossed markings with a slither of seaweed laying over it.
