They kind of went their separate ways and grew apart from what I heard. At least we still have his vocals in Hellyeah (which now Dimebag's brother passed away so no more Pantera ever for certain). The rest of the Mudvayne group went to other bands which I cannot remember them all. There at the end there was a lot of inner turmoil in Mudvayne so it's likely not coming back any time soon, they did not say "never" so there's a chance it could happen.

It's funny, I didn't care for a lot of nu metal back in the day but always cranked up Mudvayne when they came on. They were a bit more progressive melodic than some other bands out there. Plus their singer's screaming was pretty bad ass.

While that was great, go back and check out Need for Speed Underground 2. It featured the first track from this album... Determined. Or Fucking Determined depending on how its labeled and marketed.
