Ya looks good, your issue was your soup level was shallow, if it had been deeper the vortex the blender made would have sucked everything into it and you would have held the hand blender in place while it did all the work for you and not make a huge mess.

Hi is this safe on stainless steel pots? I'm so concerned now that I used it on my new All Clad pot and I now I notice lots of scratches.

Good review. Is it possible to do some rather delicate blending, like blending a caffe mocha, without inviting disaster? It seemed rather obvious you really needed both hands to carefully control it. Can it be turned down to *very* low?

It will go down low, but I would say it might still be too strong for delicate blending. On high with 'turbo' on it's very strong, apologies that I did not test it at it's lowest. I am learning all the time on here!

Just push straight in until you feel a pop - no twisting.

What can I cook on a daily basis with this?

Soups, sauces, eggs, mayonnaise, cheese sauces, you can make peanut butter or thin out peanut butter that’s too thick, you can use it in coffee to froth milk, you can make salsa with it, so many reasonens to have one, I’d rather have a handheld immersion blender than an actual blender because 1, you have to transfer the soup to the blender, blend it, than wash the blender, where as with this you just stick a wand in the soup and rinse it off, it also allows for more control as you can adjust the speed and the area of which is being blended as you cook, less guess work, less clean up, more versatility and easier to transport, pack away or move than a blender is, if you have a blender and not one of these then you need to get one, they’re awesome
