Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka-the heir to a royal bloodline. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny-their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.
Blending live-action filmmaking techniques with photoreal computer-generated imagery, Mufasa: The Lion King is directed by Barry Jenkins, produced by Adele Romanski & Mark Ceryak, and executive produced by Peter Tobyansen. Will this movie finally reveal the time Mufasa met with a white lion named Kimba but because the lion has a japanese accent,Mufasa hears Simba instead. They become cub buds' until Kimba has to go back to his own franchise. In honor,Mufasa names his kid after Kimba. And so Simba the Lion was born. Truly magical story.

Really? Pulling that golden turd of a slight again? Kimba and the lion king have radically different stories and worlds. Simba is the Swahili word for lion, along with various names used in the movie. If lion king is ripping off anything it’s Shakespeare, and it’s so far removed from that line of comparison it really don’t matter. The photo realism is actually rather impressive, and it will better serve the narrative of an original story, and, frankly, one of a character I’d like to see expanded.
