Islam honored women with the three talaqs in order to free them from deadbeat husbands. Mufti Ibrahim Desai of South Africa mentioned a Hadith in which a munafiq's wife complained to Rasulallah S. saying that he plans to constantly revoke his talaq from her in order to that she can't leave his abusive marriage, and then afterwards the ayah regarding the three talaqs was revealed. It's a shame women these days nor their parents understand that if a guy is so childish enough to give his wife three talaqs then that means he doesn't have the mental nor emotional capacity to lead the marriage. A study shows that the key to a successful marriage is having an emotionally intelligent husband, if the guy is deadbeat then his wife just ends up becoming a slave to his stupid behavior.
