Though the world has advanced 1:11:00 much I don't agree it's better when the planet is almost destroyed with global warming and much species are almost extinct both plants and animals. We are using up all of the world's resources at the expense of life itself. The world definitely is worse off in this respect.

I grew up there in the 90s, locusts were a huge problem and would cover the entire ground forcing you to step on them to get anywhere :(
