I may be wrong but aren’t these in there very essence not nikahs because they should require both parties to tell their communities about their marriage, and commit to looking after each other and the children created? Islam is beautiful because it requires people to be mentally and materially committed before they enter into relationships and create families

This is related to Nikah Misyar and Muta. Both are permitted in Islam based on the Quran. Its mentioned in chapter 4 : 24.

No strings Nikah is bullshit. Low commitment marriage isn't marriage. You can get married easily, which is fine. However, the basis of marriage is clarity and commitment in principle.
