Dude is literally just being hauled off in the background of that one shot and I'm not sure if even the teacher is paying him any attention. Even the paramedics are so unserious that, instead of actually securing the head and neck of someone who has clearly just been beaten into unconsciousness, just leave his hoodie flipped up for cushioning as he bounces around in the stretcher. It's an amazing fake out how it's set up to be a story where hard work and determination beats talent but ends up being a story where genetics determines your attitude and without the right bloodlines you might as well not even try instead...I think somewhere between part 1 and Shippuden Naruto might have lost the plot actually, when you think about it.
