@@HulaguKhan2020 firstly brother I’d like to advise you not to wish curse upon Ibn Taymiyyah RA, Sufis, including the Barelwiyyah and Deobandiyyan praise Ibn Taymiyyah, he was actually a Sufi himself, he amazingly says that sufis are of many types, some are sinners, some are an average person, and some are righteous. He is a follower of the Qadiri Tariqah. He may have criticized the Sufiyyah, but so did many other scholars, only because there were some deviated groups within it. Although he may be deviated in aqeedah (although Ibn Hajr Al-Asqalani holds the view he repented) that doesn’t mean he isn’t respected, even some mu’tazilites, the likes of Al-Zamakhshari were praised and were renounced for great knowledge! And to answer your question, it differs, in Saudi they are despised, in Syria and Egypt they are widespread. I’m sure if these salafi-inclined people in Saudi understood what sufism actually means, they would appreciate it. In fact some (such as the islamweb.com) even concede Ibn Taymiyyah was, and even praise sufis! There are many shuyukh among the Sufiyyah in Damascus syria, in Masjid Al-Aqsa itself many Mutasawwifa have mawlid gatherings, etc. May Allah ﷻ bless you.

And he didn’t say “nobody knew la lilaha illa Allah but him” U said that he’s saying he’s the first person to know the meaning and no scholar before him knew.. when he’s in reality talking about his scholars… not ALL scholars. MIAW RA mmade mistakes just like everyone who isnt the prophet SAW did He clealry states he didnt know tawheed and his teachers didnt know tawheed He made takfir on the ottoman rulers for seemingly no reason other than being overly zealous He made takfir on his own brother purely because his brother differed against him. His followers who called themselves wahhabis were known as ruthless bandits who terrorized makkah and madinah so much so that the ppl of makkah and madinah startved and started eating the dogs. They made takfir on hujjaaj They brought muslims into islam on the basis of giving them money and a few monthe layer declared that those muslims became kuffaar They were called the khawarij of that time and were spoken out against by scholars and ppl of knowledge He made mistakes but his dawah alhamdulilah was pure tawheed and beneficial till this day The problem today is ppl are on two spectrums Those who blindly follow the shaykh as if he never had blunders and mistakes and anyone who speaks out against his mistakes is an innovator And those who hate him based on the actions of his followrs and the saudi royal family who clearly used his dawah and influence to gain control over the hijaaz 'Ilm and knowledge is not only found on saudi Arabia.. all throught out history it has been scattered through out the world..some of the most influential, knowledgeable, pious scholars and defenders of this deen were non arab
