I love it so much. One of the best remakes of Disney, actually this doesn't feel like a remake at all but more like a new stand-alone one. Although I miss Mushu, cricket, Shang and most especially Grandma.

Yeah sure it’s awesome, the editing and stuff but I still can’t believe they didn’t do this part justice. In the animated show, you can clearly see Mulan contemplating whether she should go in her father’s place or not, that sort of sadness and the determination she had when she decided that she’ll do it for her father’s sake and chop off her hair, riding her horse,khan as they raced through the night. This movie shows absolutely no emotion, no sadness, nothing. There isn’t that much scene time with the family to let me get emotionally attached to them either, at this point, it’s not even mulan

It doesn't represent Chinese culture accurately, the script is poorly written, Mulan is a flawless character born with gifts rather than earning anything through hard work, and none of the screenwriters or costume designers were Chinese, and it shows. Just the tip of the iceberg-the problems with this movie run pretty deep.

The new movie was different but I really loved it. But I think Liu Yifey did a mistake. To be Mulan, you have to be brave and stand up for whats right, even though it could have consequenzes. That being true ist the only right way, is the most important message in this movie
