Being a life long Horde player, these videos touch a place that retail has not in a very, very long time. Watching these sends waves of memories rushing back to culminate into a home sick feeling. Tirisfal and Silverpine especially provoke these feelings since I fell in love with those zones right away with their atmosphere and content. By all means keep doing these videos. They are amazing in production, rich in lore and take us back to a simpler time we sorely miss.

Speak for yourself. WoW Vanilla had a lot more problems that everyone simply forgets or chooses to minimize. It’s why WoW Classic can easily take you back to those old times but most players aren’t playing it.

Looks like the AI has been fed a bunch of WoW content. It did a really good job on this one. Looking forward to see how other zones are portrayed. Although it's AI content, it still is a pretty immersive experience, as it seems a bit more realistic.

AI is the future. Adapt or die. The work it takes to work with AI to create is still work controlling the outcome. So doesn’t just automatically spit out exactly what you want 1st try. There is usually a bunch of editing afterwards as well.

Don't hold your breath on that. From what I have gleaned from everything Blizzard has ever put out there on the graphics, they want to keep it as the "cartoony" as Vanilla was, since that is what WoW graphics are known to be like. Upgrading that "cartoony" graphic, but nothing like what you see here, nor anything like any of the in-game cinematics is something I don't believe they have on the table.

play classic. it literally is this size. i started playing wotlk back in the day. unlocking your first mount at 20, then fast mounts at 40 and so on. it took more than half an hour to walk on foot from TB to Org

I'm surprised how good this ended up looking taking in consideration that making a tauren is very hard for AI, it's not that they can't do cow people or minotaur looking humanoids, I've tried a lot of prompts for tauren and it always messes up the thickness of their legs and the hunchback, it always gives them big tusks for some reason and doesn't get right how friendly their faces and snout look

Correction, Tauren are AMONG the oldest races on Azeroth. Night Elves are only 15,000 years old as a race and are descended from Trolls who are as old as Azeroth itself. The other oldest races being the Pandaren, Tuskarr, Wolvar, Makura, Gnolls, Harpies and possibly Kobolds and Murlocs and the Aqir (however they may not be native to Azeroth itself). All of these races were formed before the Titans even reached Azeroth and made the Seed Races.

well once they added flying this was no longer the most secure city but rather the most vulnerable. Before flying in azeroth yes, have been that druid who typhoons 40 alliance off the elevator over and over and they couldnt get in! Until i got over zealous and wanted to see my handy work and i stepped to far off the bridge after i pushed them and i fell down with them, an angry hunter shooting me all the way to the bottom.

tbh The Horde needs to reorganize longterm to make TB the capital instead of Org. Orgrimmar is difficult to assault and illustrates how the Horde races can and will survive in tough conditions. But TB is basically unassailable and has plentiful natural resources immediately at hand. and it shows what the Horde WANTS to be, not just what they can withstand.
