Welcome to my Channel, I hope you enjoy this video which is a montage of pics l took whilst touring the Mull of Kintyre or Route 66 as it's now known.
We're on our Sunday run from Glasgow to Portavardie and then catch the ferry to Tarbert to access the Mull of Kintyre.
A ride down to Campbeltown stopping for a few beach pics along the way.
Lunch in Campbeltown at the excellent Blue Bell Cafe.
After lunch we partake in a ride North East of this Peninsula from Campbeltown to Carradale taking in the stunning scenery this part of Scotland has to offer as you will see.
l would definitely recommend riding a few of the Roads less Travelled here on both coasts which will give you access to some spectacular scenes.
Machrihanish is worth a look.
At the start of our ride back North we take in Davaar lsland which is a tidal lsland and is accessible at low tide.
This route we're now on is a fabulous biking road, we stop at the viIlage of Carradale taking in it's old harbour which is still in daily use.
We then continue riding north to Tarbert to catch our return Ferry back over to Portavardie.
As we ride this single track road we get spectacular views across to the Isle of Arran.
l hope you have enjoyed my video.
This Channel is full of footage of "Roads less Travelled" all routes that l can recommend.
